Give me info on the animatrix

I'm new to the whole anmatrix thing. Is NEO, TRINITY, MORPHEUS, or anyone like that in it?

Is it a movie or a show?

Well it's a series of 9 animated short movies based around the universe of the Matrix. Trinity and Neo do have small parts in a few of them (well they did the voices). A few episodes tie in very nicely with the movies too like Second Renaissance, Final Flight of the Osiris and Kid's story. You can download a few episodes here:
