Each image reloads?

Am I imagining it or do all the images hosted here reload everytime I load a page except those hosted externally?

If they are reloading then can't that be stopped please?

Im not too sure.

Take my word for it, they do, and it's annoying.

what images?

if you're talking about avatars and sigs then they're
saved in your cache and loaded from there instead
of downloaded.

if you're talking about other images, such as those that
the users upload, then i'm not sure. those should also be
cached however.

Yea They seem like it even the ones that you see often here... Its like they are... different images than that of the last time u visited... and it reloads them... oh well :p

No, I'm sure of it now. Images from external sites are stored in the cache but all the other images (the buttons, the bars, the avatars) all reload everytime you visit a page.

They will only be stored in the cache if you have your browser's cache turned on.
