What if the Matrx was real?

Wouldn't it be cool if the Matrix was real?

i personally reackon it is real i actually believe it throughout.

I have always hoped that there would be a little more "magic" in this world.

The matrix IS real in our reality, but not as u think.

The Matrix IS possible, in Reloaded when the Oracle talks about aliens and ghosts being things that the machines come up with to stop people knowing it was a program that caused the problem,(If i have got this wrong please correct me) then it may be true that the matrix is real, The WB's(Wachowski Brothers) were right and we could be being used as batteries, or something like that. Just a thought.

i study filosofy, and some filosophers ask the same questions. concerning computer simulations, and if this world could be one. one has even calculated a 99% possibility that it is.

still, because no neo has stood up -not yet-, i see no reason to assume we live in the matrix. it's not relevant, we'll never now the truth. i mean it doesn't matter:

"ignorance is bliss"

THE MATRIX is just an idea in the movie , but in real , there is something in phelosphy discripe the matrix but in other form , the philosph Aflaton discripe our world as a cave and we ( human ) watch a reflictionS of things in that cave , but we cant c this things in real , so we dont realy c the original views , its just a reflictions of it , Aflaton says that if one of this humans think that there is something wrong with this view , and went out the cave 2 c the real things , when he c it he wouldnt belive his own eyes , but later he will belive , and the go to the others and try 2 tell them what he had seen , u know what they gonna do with him ?? they will kill him coz he c things that they cant belive ( cops and Neo when Morpheus was trying 2 tell him that every human pluged 2 the matrix we consider him as one of our enemy ).......

our world have so many things that we still cant explain it , how u can explain gohsts , vampires , aliens , humans moving thins without touching it , oracls everwhere tell u what is ur future gonna be and what about Nostradamos ( the greatest oracle in the hall history ) ...... ???

all i wanna say that we have a ot of things cant be explain , so , there is something wrong with this world that we cant know now , but may be later ...... ;)

i wish it was a fake world--i'd throw math and all that other junk out and start foightin' wif Neo!

Hey Guys...I'm new to all this chat stuff, so not sure how it works...I just wanted to say I think the Matrix is real....The Matrix has you...It has all of us....Some of you have talked about a 'magic' in the world.....There is definately a higher force.......Most of us intuitively know this.....Theres one thing we all want in life-Happiness. Every action we perform is in the hope that we'll be happy...The problem with happiness is this....When we really really want something, sometimes we dont get it. Then, if and when we do get it, Its not normally as good as we expected it would be. For those few of us who are lucky enough to get what we want, while it is all it's cracked up to be, we end up in a state of anxiety-a state of mind where we're worried about losing what we finally found. I think this is because it is temporary. Think about it-most the things we hanker for in life are not eternal. Let me know what you guys think...sonal31@hotmail.com

@IT IS REAL: When you are talking about happiness you forget one thing, "Happiness is not achieved by the conscious pursuit of happiness; it is generally the by-product of other activities." (aldous huxley wrote this :P)
I do agry with everything you say about happiness, but only if one is canstantly thinking about how happy he/she is.

You were also talking about the fact that everyone know's that there is a higher force. Do you not think that people are afraid of the fact that there might not be a higher force. It's like thinking of the fact that after death there is nothing left for you, and not just thinking about it, also accepting it. Now try accepting that we are responsible for everything that we do, and that there is no higher force guiding us. It tends to be scary. I think that is why the_revolution sometimes thinks of living in a matrix, like people explain things by god.

In conclusion i shall say some things about what this topic is all about :P.
There are an infinite amount of possibilities about what is our world and who we are. I can say about this only what twylyte_nl wrote (Yeah for the dutch :P) "It doesn't matter". For all we know our world might be a hell for an other world (Huxley again). But does it feel that way for us?
Now, if from that invinite amount of possibilities we live in a Matrix as presented by the Wachowski brothers i can only hope to stay in it as long as possible.
