Neo anagram

Neo in anagram is one. Stating the obvious but I thought clever anyway. When I usually post I have epiphonies about the bible or buddah paralells so I thought I would put a simple but true Post in.

Maybe not. But "Neo" means "new".. and that (as with almost all the names used in the Matrix) tells us a whole lot about the character.

This has been discussed before. People also try to link the 'one' to 'Jesus', since it means "The chosen One" in Hebrew.

Morpheus = The greek god of sleep, able to assume any human form and can speak to people in their dreams. Which he visits Neo in his "sleeping" state in the Matrix i suppose.

Trinity = The state of being three, as in "The Holy Trinity", possibly meaning the third person in the Morpheous/Neo trumvirate.

Niobe = In greek mythology she is an arrogent woman who boasts of having more children than the goddess Leto. The gods slay her children (the people of Zion?) and turn her into a weeping statue.

Seraph = Seraph means angel in hebrew, indicating maybe he might be significant in the salvation of Zion ??

Persephone = In greek mythology is a scheming temptress used in plots to suduce people. She was kidnapped from the "Overworld" to be the wife of Hades (who if you didnt know is the king of the underworld....no not the dance group !!).
