The One V6.0
That The Matrix films are not as complicated as we make them - but in fact very simple concepts and we should take everything at face value! ?
Just a thought.

The One V6.0 That The Matrix films are not as complicated as we make them - but in fact very simple concepts and we should take everything at face value! ? Just a thought. neoanomaly that is possible. but that is what the people who just watch it will get out of it.. the hardcore fans analyize the hell outta it:) funkyhorror i disagree with you The One V6.0. It's an extremely complex movie and everything in it has a purpose... :) neoanomaly didnt that just contradict with what he said? flanish of course. he's contradicting THE ONE V6.o EtaPhase Well, there are things in the movies that really aren't relevent. Decribe for me the relevence of the blind indian man holding the walking stick (looked a lot like the maharisha George Harrison visited back in the 60's) in the hallway to the Oracle's apartment in M1. The man being led away by Merovignian's henchmen may never be explained in M3... I for one applaud the Wachowskis for using so much symbolism in the Matrix movies. Look what it has done for this site! So many here enjoy discussing the possibilities... funkyhorror well i don't mean everything has a purpose... but there are alot of small details which have some sort of significance to the storyline and such... The One V6.0 I was just saying.... I really think everything was planned in the Matrix films...just wanted to see people's reactions. I wish more movie makers took as much time as the W Bros to put meaning into their movies... But that's just me... CeeCay I'm prette sure even the blind man has a purpose. Why else go to the trouble of putting him there? NOTHING in these films is left to chance. If the W's went to the trouble of putting something in the frame.. it has a meaning. We just haven't figured out what it is yet. alex/eyesonzion there is that split second thought when you think 'why am i over analysing this so much' but thn you relize that thi is no ordinary film CraHan there is that split second thought when you think 'why am i over analysing this so much' but thn you relize that thi is no ordinary film You can't imagine how many times I've had that split second occur to me :p alex/eyesonzion haha yeah, but like i said, you just realise, that a lot of whats said is a distinct possibility CeeCay And a whole lot more that ain't :p alex/eyesonzion lol yeah Neo_Andersion might be a possibility that we think too seriously. CeeCay Nah.. dont think this film can be overthunk. After all.. it IS the W brothers that wrote/directed it. :D EtaPhase Originally posted by CeeCay I'm prette sure even the blind man has a purpose. We just haven't figured out what it is yet. I went back and watched that part of the movie... there is something relevent! We're led to believe the old man is blind, because he has a walking stick. However, when Morpheus and Neo walk in, Morpheus and the old man nod at each other. It was an unusual nod, very subtle. Neo.com I noticed the nod too pfloyd I'll have to go back and watch that, but if you think about it, perhaps this person isn't actually blind. The orphans in there seem to have power over the matrix to some extent (bending spoons, telekinesis, etc) so perhaps he's just not blind. A disguised body guard ala Seraph in M2? Remember, Morpheus has been to the Oracle before, so he's probably met this person before. I wouldn't read too much into it, but I'll have to go watch M1 again now to see for myself :P the seeker Isnīt the idea about the matrix that it is a perfect system and everything has a goal or purpose. I think the W brothers had this in mind even when they filmed the blind man outside the oracle. But still we often tend to overanalyse things that just are so ordinary that it seems strange. In real life and hopefully in the matrix, everything has a purpose even how small it seems to be. MoNoX_BooGie different people view it in different ways...some see it as state of the art action flick with mind blowin special FX...others *people on this board* see it as a film with meaning *that wuznt a pop at anyone on here by tha way...hell im on the same board :D*...it just dependz whos watchin it! alex/eyesonzion in a way, yeah, i agree. you can either see it as a class action/sci fi/kung fu movie, a philosophical, deeply thought out movie or a combination of the two MoNoX_BooGie yeah...i see it in both instances...its amazinly crafted in the story dept. yet got over the top action with the one simple reason: It can do it and have a reason to get away with it thats actually half decent morpheous states that the matrix has rules...but rules can be broken...hence the fact that neo flies n pullz kickz the **** outta 100 agent smiths...because he can bend the rules...morpheous also says that the agents still live in a rule based environment *im sure he did anywayz!* n when u place neo against agents with rules...the rulebreaker wins cuz there aint a referee! ;) chris THE ONE I'm prette sure even the blind man has a purpose. We just haven't figured out what it is yet. i dont think the blind man has a significant part to play in the matrix trilogy he is probably just a background character, just think how plain it would be if he wasnt there they would just be walking along maybe it is to show that they is alot more people been unpluged like morpheous' friends i dunno sumthing like that i cnt really describe it Smithmatic You could be right The One V6.0, but than why'd the Wach Bros. make everything seem so comlicated? View Full Version : Did it ever occur to anyone... |
