tastetherainbow how does the matrix affect the real world? flanish what? neoanomaly Real world in the movie Or outside of the movie tastetherainbow in the movie neoanomaly The matrix is what the machines use to keep people under control..... as Morhpeus says, "A prison for your mind" tastetherainbow why do they boot up into it tho? neoanomaly * i might add that i was explaining it in VERY simple terms. tastetherainbow how is it significant? tastetherainbow explain it in real simple terms flanish quick question: have u seen the movie? neoanomaly Time magazine: Question 5 (prob not EXACT TEXT) " If Agent Smith can duplicate himself endlessley, and Neo can fly away, Whats the point of their fighting?" answer: for a workout. tastetherainbow yes i have seen the movie i just dont understand it tastetherainbow and why do you love robert e lee flanish he was a very moral, self-sacrificing, and respectable man not many people are like that anymore flanish where did u get "tastetherainbow" from? i know its from skittles, but thats kinda fruity (get the pun?) Nato_one I think what tastethrainbow was getting at is why are they trying to defeat/shut down the matrix from the inside how does what they do affect the real world becuase if it doesnt they are just wasting their time. right rainbow? I would say the reson they boot up into the matrix is to free more minds thus incresing thier chances of defeating the machines in the real world. And also beause so of them believe the matrix can be defeated from the inside out and they will never be able to shut it down from the real world. Not unless they suddunly have a million man army or something. tastetherainbow thats exactly what i was trying to get across, i guess i did a lousy job of it though CloudStrife why shouldnt he like robert e lee, he was one of the greatest men of our time IamMorpheus Yes he was toymachine970 right on! EtaPhase Originally posted by neoanomaly " If Agent Smith can duplicate himself endlessley, and Neo can fly away, Whats the point of their fighting?"This sounds like Segal's review. What a nimrod he was. First of all, Neo took out Smith in the first movie. There was no reason to fly away right away. Why should he? If he took out one, he could take out 100's. Turns out he couldn't take them out, thus the long delay of getting the hell out of Dodge. exxnerdbob You're right. I had never thought about it before, but it doesn't seem like they ever free anyone while in the MAtrix, so what is their purpose of keep going back in. Rodion remember morpheus speech, that they had freed more minds in the six months since finding neo than in the previous six years, remember the (slightly obnoxious) appearance of the kid. Remember the fact that most of the counselors and ship captains are freed minds now fighting against the matrix and the machines. Easy enough stuff, really. Not sure why it isn't obvious. StormCyko i sure hope that people asking questions like this have gone and seen the matrix 1. costa D watch cause i am about to create a thread with the most useful website you will ever come across Neo6th What are you asking? Terikan Uhh, you know who robert e. lee was? he was the leader of the confederate armies. he believed that black people should remain enslaved to white people, and that they were nothing but tools for the white people to use. he fought for that, he sacrificed many lives for that (but not his own of course). he's not a great man; no, he's hardly even human. take your confederate flag and wave it someplace else, thanks.
