So what was in the 'drop' that I presume you get to see in hte game? Will it help save Zion?

The "Drop" is the warning to zion to say that the machines are digging and in the game you have to pick it up from the post office, and the crew of the logos, Noibe, Ghost and sparks, are the team that is sent to get it! I really do suggest that you get it not only does it explain some parts of the film, but just in general it'll keep you coming back for more!

If you let the game sit idle at the beginning scene, you can actually see the part where they are attacked by the sentinels and make the drop, straight from The Animatrix...

Zion dudes actually retrieved that package. It continues into the scene where Bane and that other dude were being chased by Agents. Bane was holding the package and told the othter guy to go first with the package.

That's when Smith took over Bane.

No, see, cos bane was taken over AFTER the meeting where all the captains met and niobe told everyone what was happening!

Yes, you are very wrong. Bane was infected delivering the message from the ORACLE, not the Osirus.

I must be mistaken. . .
I thought that package that was dropped in the mailbox by Joanne (Asian Chick) in Flight of Osiris and then was picked up by in M2 by Bane & that other guy to warn Zion of the Digging going on. I didn't get the impression that was a message from the Oracle. Sorry.

yeah it's niobe/ghost who pick up the osiris message. I know because you have to do that in the game lol. I'm not sure if the package Bane had was from the oracle though
