what if AI took over!!
i wonder, what if AI took over the world. man and AI had a war and the AI won. they would grow smarter rapidly and amount in population quiker than the human race. well after taking in knowledge that man kind has made what if the robots took the matrix film into great consideration. With nothing else to do with the useless man kind. with their intelligence growing mor and more rapidly it wouldn't take long before they actually did figure a way to make the matrix.
please post ur thoughts on this subject and if it could really happen

I think that matrix is kinda like Dune only the matrix is confined to one planet and they lost the fight against AI (The jihad, if anyone has read it yet....)... other than that...
kinda.... hey maybe if AI did stage a revolt! the world will turn into Dune and spice will be discovered and wow! I can just imagine it!

:: AI in my opinion will never happen because...
: it is just plain impossible. for it to be done we would have to develop a mechanical way to simulate the brain. and since i dont think we will ever know all that is to know about our brain. how can we recreate one? then what would we do to create one? like time travel it is prooven to be impossible... the only way would be to combine the properties of a machine with an organ such as the brain...
: or mankind is too scared too. if we did create AI and it did think for itself, whats to say it doesnt have a personality? kind, friendly? or psychotic serial killer? and if the machine has access to the internet it could hide itself and destroy all computers in the world which if you think about it would turn the world into utter chaos... documents would be lost banks wouldnt work electricity gone etc.
:: ultimately if man does create AI he would have to program a command in there not to harm humans... see ASIMOV'S LAWS OF ROBOTICS but even if the machine is still programmed it technically wouldnt be true AI and if it were true AI it could just ignore the command just like murderers ignore the law.
:: therefore if AI is invented machines by nature are stronger than humans and would take over and there would be nothing we could do.
