Why do you think the Wachowski brothers based the game on a side story with niobe and ghost, if they could have just based it on the movie?

Because, number 1, you already know what happens in the movie, number two, if you played as Neo it would turn out to be a superman game which they didn't want, and three, it futhers the storyline development.

Just think about it for a little while, sure it would have been fun to be Morph or Trin, but wasn't Ghost damn cool? It greatly, GREATLY enhanced the storyline, we know so much more about what happened when and to who for playing the game. And most importantly, without playing the game, we would not have Sparks. Best. Operator. Ever. :p He uses smiles for The One's sake! It was, I found, a nice change from standard spin-offs which are just money-making shams, to get something that was actually fun to play, and which brought many things into it. It added to our little Matrix world, and did it well, so it cannot be a bad thing.

I wish i had know more about the game when it came out..
I had a chance to buy it and thought.. naw.. maybe later,,
now i can't find it (small town life sometimes sucks)
