Matrix Trench Coats

Here is a good site for trench coats tailored after ones found in the matrix (and other films). They do cost a lot of money, but they are custom made by hand to your measurements. Most quality trenches are expensive anyway. Check out their forums for more info. I think I'll get my self the Lobby trench once the money comes in :)

Definetely cool, but pretty pricy I think. Believe they would do better business if they also offered some cheaper standard size replicas. I mean, so people like myself could buy one for the fun of it :D

The HotTopic at my local mall has a bunch of pre-sized ones for around $75. There are 2 neo-styled ones (matrix 1 and 2 style) - a morpheus one, trinity, and the twins. The neo ones are 100% cotton while the others are something else much thinner, I didn't really look at them much so I'm not certain.

If you're in the market for a black or brown lambskin leather Matrix-Style trenchcoat, I recommend visiting www.leatherattractions.com . Today I got my black one, and I"m happy with the look, fit, and quality. My total cost (including shipping) was $180 even. Not too bad, you might say.....but guess what? They will custom fit the trenchcoat at NO EXTRA COST!! That deal was too good for me personally to pass up, so I bought one and am very satisfied.

Abbyshot makes nice ones but they are still off from what you see in the films. Fior example the Neo one in Reloaded at Abbyshot is neck to toe button yet the one he wore only buttons to the waistline and is of a lighter fabric, possibly a Microfiber weave of some sort.

I found a great trenchcoat like Neo's in the first Matrix and it only cost me R100 (about $14). God, I love South Africa... :)

i have the DVD, and i have looked it over, zoomed in everything... i bought a trench coat at Nordstroms, I swear, It is EXACTLY the same...... It is awesome, if theres a nordstroms around u, chek it out, about 70-100 $$

damn those trench coats kick ass. but yah thay are hella pricy thad be cool to have em all but im not rich

Actually a store in the states called "Hot Topic" sells replica coats. They have one just like neo's in Reloaded, but its made of denim and you have to have stilts on your boots to walk in them otherwise it drags everywhere, but it has the same flare effect and same nehru collar. They run for about $76.00 plus shipping on theirwebsite, you should check it out. I think they had trinity's, but that was considered a seasonal "halloween" item, and they had morpheus and the twins as well. Abbyshot is a nice maker of the coats, I just don't feel like blowin that much cash on a coat.

Hey, that nordstroms, I found their website but they don't have anything remotely close to the coat neo boasts in Reloaded/Revolutions, do you happen to have a pic of it floating around?

Actually the coat www.Abbyshot.com is right the Neo coat does have buttons from top to bottom but Neo only buttons it to the waist. I bought the $76 replica coat from Hot Topic and wore it for Halloween, it's badass especially considering the price. It's almost as close to the real thing as those Abbyshot.com coats the main difference being that it doesn't have a lot of little buttons all the way down, just 6 large ones to the waist only. I got a lot of compliments on it. My g/f bought the Hot Topic Trinity costume and it was just as badass. I bought the "official" Neo and Trinity replica shades from www.thematrixshop.com to go with it and they were overall great costumes.

good lord, 700 for a coat. does it come with the powers of the one, head from persephone perhaps?

Hot topic (someone already posted about it above) was the only place I could find Trenchies here. They looked preety good to me and I would have bought one, but I'm so poor I couldn't even shell out the $70 for one. I ended up finding a pattern at a fabric store and sewing my own. It turned out preety good and I think the total cost was only like $25.

well iono bout hot topic it seems like a gothic store, as for nordstroms, its prolly not something that they have in stock it was 1 size to big and they said they didnt have another one or couldnt order another one......

I went to that website, www.leatherattractions.com, and I'm pretty sure the next leather jacket I buy will be from there. I was looking at the vintage lambskin or Harley edition II. Affordable and nice looking.
