I'm new to this

MatrixGirl

Hello everyone... I'm new to this forum. firstly I want to let you know more about me. My name is Debbie and I am 18 years old (turning 19 in December). I identified myself so deeply when I watched MATRIX for the first time and since that day I try to be connected to Matrix philosophy as always as I can.
I would love to meet people from here. I like making good friendships and I hope to hear from you all soon!
That's all for now:p

Hello, Debbie, and welcome; if you want to learn a lot more about the Matrix, dealing with all the different philosophy and theories that are currently in debate, you have come to the right place for it. I can only hope your brain handles the pure satisfaction of cracking such theories, understanding what people are talking about and so forth. The Matrix isn't exactly an easy thing to understand, I'm sure you know.

Anyway, you are very pretty, and from what I can tell, rather intellectually gifted. I am sure you will fit right in here.

Catch you around. ;)
MatrixGirl

Thank you so much!!!! I will do my best to understand Matrix as well. To be true to you, I ain't an old Matrix die-hard "fan" as if I could call it fan, but I have always appreciated the presented theme of the movie blended with pure philosophy. I always catch me thinking about the question "Is Matrix real?" There are many things to know and learn about our own world, so I hope to have a great time out debating about things Matrix related!
Naraku

I am sure the query of thought concerning "Are we in the Matrix?" has crossed everyone's mind, and if we were, our brains would have to possess a certain criteria of knowledge to actually be able to break free from it. As weird as it sounds, I have actually tried to focus my invisible energy, known as my Chi, to try and bend spoons and to heal myself of cuts.

I know it sounds crazy, but I thought I would give it a go, and obviously, nothing happened. Now the thought of "I am not a free mind." comes to play, and because of that, I loose faith in the whole thing. If you loose faith, you will never discover the truth of what is real or what is merely a projectile image imprinted in your brain.

Take dreaming for instance. We sometimes think they are real until we awake, and find ourselves in bed. This is much like a Matrix, except the Matrix is a dynamic universe which never sleeps or shuts down, so you can come back to whatever you were dreaming about, even though it is not a dream at all. Heh, very confusing stuff.

Anyway, catch you around. xD
MatrixGirl

I understand exactly what you're trying to say! Sometimes I get scared with my thoughts. Everytime I close my eyes and dream with something, the question that hits my mind is "what does that dream mean?" The question gives me answers brought from Matrix ideology. Am I going crazy or what? Well I dont know, this sounds weird sometimes.

dont worry, you will will become rock solid in matrix knowledge. You will know things about the matrix, u thought never existed. The matrix is the most complex movie saga of all and there is so much more to it! Its also fun to get new titles underneath your username usually after every 20+ posts u produce. U also can get avatars (pics underneath the title) to choose from reach about 5 posts i think. U get more and more to choose from when u keep posting. (as long as u got a legit post i might add:) ) At 50 posts, u are allowed to have a custom avatar , which i really like! Nice meeting u Ms.Matrixgirl!
MatrixGirl

Oh...nice to meet you too! Thank you for the infos ...keep your eyes open and u will see me using a avatar soon! LOL...Hugs:D
Naraku

Hehe, yes. Although, the avatars you can pick from are quite shabby, I think. xD As you can see, I just make my own graphics, so I can have exactly what I desire.

I also make signature graphics, because I can. xD
MatrixGirl

so I think I will need your help on gettign mine the way i want it to be!:o

Oh come now Naraku (sarcastic:) ) the avatar selection here isnt half bad! But once u get a custom avatar, u will never go back.... its like forgettin about em! LoL
MatrixGirl

it's kinda identity isnt it?:)
Naraku

It is a lot like an identity thing. If people have the same avatar, it is hard to judge who is who, and it becomes confusing.
NEOsporin

yes, u r very right. For the longest time i had an agent smith avatar from this ite.. then i kept seeing other people with the same one and it drove me crazy:eek:

custom avatars rule.
MatrixGirl

I agree with you.... that's why I am lookin' foward to creating my own avatar if it's possible to add to my name.
Naraku

To make your own, you need vast knowledge of Photoshop. That program costs a load of money, so, I would just get someone else to make you one. xD
MatrixGirl

Really?? I tought I could get Photoshop at any download site on the web...anyways... if you find someone to help me on creating my own avatar, I'd be very thanked!
liondale

Check the thread further down the page: "How to creat my own avatar". I asked an Xeiruth and Redpill replied, helped me creating my own.
Naraku

You _can_ make basic ones in Paint though.

And yes, you can download Photoshop, but if you get caught, you're gonna get told off. :p
MatrixGirl

LOL... I will think about it... maybe ill try my own! Hope it works though!:o

HI Debbie, Welcome to MR.com ( MatrixReloaded.com ) here you will find people who are so into the world that is The Matrix, that they can readily discuss how the bullets fired at Neo by Agent Brown in the first movie, don't reflect Neo until up until the point where they hit Neo in the upper thigh area, and et cetra.

I myself, am one of the deep deep thinkers of this board ( dont' take offense everyone else.. ) and I delve extremely deep into the world.

Some interesting posts to get you started on your quest here:

MatrixGirl

Thank you very very much for giving me those links about Matrix related threads. I printed everything to read a bit later. I am going to see Matrix Reloaded for the 3º time. As I have said once, I ain't an expert on getting all the tricks of Matrix but the theory is one of the things I want to learn a bit of it. Those links you gave me will help a lot and I thank you one more time. Everything Matrix related will be very welcome. Thanks also for the help you've offered me. It will be recommended as I am just a cool newbie. Hope it won't bother you. Oh, congratulations for the great job on the forum. :)
funkyhorror
