well the spelling thing was a good call... it doesn't take effort to spell things properly... either way you're still pressing buttons...:confused:

I think it's a trend we are going to see a lot more in the future, with how popular instant messengers and phone text messages are. Writing in real life is probably going to suffer as people bring text/IM chat syntax into forums like this, homework, love notes.

i personally think that writing by hand will fade out very soon-with laptops and pocket pcs and palm pilots-i think soon ull just say something and a computer will type it-then a.i will become to strong...well block out the sun...robots make us in2 crops...they make a matrix.............

once the tablet pcs drop in price i think they will truly
revolutionize computing and everything else. since
the screens on those babies are touch sensitive
and since the computer is the size (and design) of
a laptop, I don't see why people wouldn't use them
for everyday tasks, from office to school work.

I do about 95% of my writing on the machine, and I've
noticed my handwriting suffered because of that. We're
leaping ahead into a new level of computing, where
a computer laptop can be as small and light as a
paper notebook with much more computing power.

for some reason i have an obsession with grammar and spelling... even with an sms i am reluctant to shorten my spelling... often i'll edit a post because it has a minor spelling or gramatical error... meh, that's just the way i am... and it annoys me alot when people write "lik dis" with a pen... even on computer... to me it just makes the person sound like a complete fool with a speech problem... :)

after years of aol, email, aim and just typing alot i now have trouble writing just because ill write u instead of u or cuz instaed of becuz

To be a moderator, at least, for me, I believe you have to see the Matrix about 80 to 100 times. Prove your loyalty to the film by saving everything you can find, that pertains to the matrix, and most of all have the ability to help when needed, and make sense when posting. I also believe that helping users readily who need it, when ever, and however they need the help, also being around a while helps. I got lucky because I told Luc that I could help out at any moment in time, which is very true, except for the times when I'm not online. *Which happens to be rarely ever.. * Knowing your stuff about the Matrix is a huge one.. Oh, and another thing.. don't ask how to become a moderator.. Luc, I, Wildcard, and Tom, are actually watching you very closely ( picture 4 guys standing over the Matrix code day in and day out.. ) for signs of loyalty and stuff to this site, if you don't ask, you'll be noticed more frequently than if you do ask. :)
