Merovingian & Co....."MATRIX MAFIA?"

In matrix 1, wachowski brothers made the "agents",which are like the "matrix F.B.I/C.I.A" Do you think the in the script writing of matrix 2,Wachowski bros. were aiming at a clever idea of a "matrix mafia" which is Merovingian & Co?

In real life, one the FBI's goals is to try and take down the mafia, but it will never happen cause they are so secretive and percise in their operations.

In the matrix, it follows the same pattern and if you think about it, this point of view can awnser a lot of questions about Merovingian & Co.

I think that sounds like a pretty good analogy. I kind of saw them in that light a little bit, but never thought to connect it to the CIA/FBI agents.

Well, I think someone on this board mentioned that WacBros tried to make Agents imaged after FBI from 1950s.

Maybe it was his perception, he inferred that he read it as fact somewhere, but I don't remmeber him quoting a source.

I totally agree with you, thats exactly what I thought when i saw it. The agents are the local law enforcement and Merovingian and co are the gangsters.
