Morpheus - only 2 choices

homealon

alright, people, hear me out.

we all know there were 5 other matrices before the one we're following, we also know the neo was given 2 options after meeting the architect, one was the go back to matrix, and probably eliminating the human kind by itself, or choosing the other door (who are we but the sum of all our choices - big motive in the movie, repeated in M1 also with the pills). choosing the second door, was, the way i see it, reseting the matrix, but in order to find the new "one" of the 7th matrix, he was supposed to choose 17 men and women in order to start plugging people out of the matrix again. finding the "one" is a big thing, because it's the only way the architect can correct his program. my guess is that when he finds the "one" he can correct the mistake and since "the one" has all these emotions (the difference between machines and humans, after all he is only human...) he will always choose the reset the matrix when he is given a choice, because choosing the other door will bring to the end of all the human kind, while resting will give him a second chance to start over.

this is where morpheus comes in the picture, if this is the 6th matrix, the "one" from the previous matrix must be on the ship. morpheus, after failing to save the previous matrix (as he is supposed to), established the Nebuchadnezar (forgive me for the typos). 17 men and women crew, that are supposed to find the one in order to beat the machines once and for all. that will explain why morph has such strong belief in finding the one, which also explain neo's theory "there are only 2 options, either no one told me, or no one knew" which makes the first option alot more realistic.

plus i believe the architect stopped the machines, because outside the matrix, neo is just another human. and the only way to stop the machines is to turn off the plug. in which case, the architect has access to. as being the father of the matrix. turn them off = control . what is control? the ability the shut the machines down..
ReBeL

OK, I got nit pick here as much as I can: :D
(This if of course only my humble opinion)
A.
neo was given 2 options after meeting the architect, one was the go back to matrix, and probably eliminating the human kind by itself, or choosing the other door. Choosing the second door, was, the way I see it, resetting the matrix
But Neo *DID* choose the "other door", he chose to save Trinity thus destroying man kind (at least that's what the architect told him...), he didn't want to go to the "first door" to reset the matrix, cuz he didn't believe it. NOTE: Before he made his choice the architect told him, the right door, and the "salvation of Zion"...
If Neo was truly able to finish the war, wouldn't he pick the right door? I mean true love.... but... you get my point.

B.
Who says the earlier one must be on the ship? What's the ship got to do with it?? It's just a ship (a very nice ship with very nice name that is gone now :P) and if indeed the matrix was "resetted", no such Morpheous would exist.

C. Now morpheous wants to find the one so bad, cuz he was told by the oracle... same oracle that told Neo that he isn't the one in the first movie. Note:" THE ORACLE ONLY TELLS YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR!", remember that?, I mean sure she helps them but other programs and agents are chasing her, and like Neo asked her, how can I trust you? She said you can't really be sure.
Quick note: The Oracle tells us the future indeed, but it's Neo for example that must make that choice and not her, so the future can be altered.

D. My guess is what the Architect told Neo about former matrixes are False!, he just playing games so Neo would walk the other door and god knows what would happened.
So many Neo's on the screen all reacting differently that's the only thing in the movie I'm still confused about.
So that brings me to my next point:

E.
You believe is was the architect who stopped the machines... why would he? He doesn't need the one... the one is an anomaly.....
In any case he wouldn't have power to stop those machines because it's not his responsibility and for all we know, he could be a program himself, at the very least a machine... one that has nothing to do with the rest of machine army. He's just the Matrix bulider not the "the big boss" of the machine world.
What happened with neo was indeed the weirdest thing.....
Is he more then just "the one"? Or it is indeed outside play by someone else... the thing is... he said he feels them .......
Maybe Neo is just another program inside a human body (agent smith for example).

Who knows.... but keep talking about subjects like that would be to tarnish the 3rd movie.
So everybody just keep there yeppers shut! And wait for November! :p
No need to start guessing and ruining your fun :)
