Smith...you gotta love him

As i sat there watching the best fight scene i have ever seen in a movie,neo vs smith and smith and smith smith and smith and smith and smith and smith and smith and smith and smith and smith :) i couldnt help but wonder what would smith be like a good agent. "you know the machine taking on the machine"?

It would be a disaster if Smith were to switch sides. Smith appears to be Neo's equal.

he is not even close to neo's equal in m2..... but he will be in M3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I already know. smith will have equal strength/speed and flying capability.. nothin else that neo posseses. But with smiths other talents... it will be a battle in the sky we will all remember!:D

well if you put it that way, than i geuss you are right. is that why they didnt show so much of smith in M2?

if smith becomes the equal of neo, what will happen to all the clones that he has made, will they too become little neo's *s*

I doubt Smith will be as good a fighter as Neo. I don't think Smith will ever be as good. ;)

If it does come to happen, the fight between those two will be the fight to end all fights. It will be one he!! of a battle to watch. I can't wait. Just think, in only 6 more months we will see.

There is no way that Smith is Neo's equal, it took a bazillion of him to fight Neo in M2, and they still did not win, Even is Smith gains more skill and power, Neo will still adapt and gain more than he!

that will be the best then, more @$$ kicking one each other, one smith after another (unless there all going to sit onre the side and eat popcorn and watch them fight), down to the end , death, gone, ? will be witch one will it be, the good, the bad, or both?

If you look at Smith as being able to copy himself and then being in control of his copies, then you could possibly think that the fight with a hundred of him was to much to concentrate on. It might be that the large number of them will just sit on the sidelines so that he can concentrate his abilities in just one body.

Just a thought......

I doubt Smith would cease any opportunity to kill Neo though. I am sure he would do all he could to kill him, which in turn, proves he will not let his clones sit and watch.

if youve seen the revolutions trailer smith is prbably neos equal. look at the fight scene in the rain....awesome

ive noticed that some of you guys and gals talk about "revolutions" my Question to all of you is why would you want to spoil the movie by watching trailers, they give away so much...like for instense this thing with smith and being neo's equal.

being able to see that for the first time would be much better than expecting something that you already know is going to happen.

i understand that fans want to know what is going to happen so bad that they just absorb everylittle detail the matrix can throw at them, but having some self control is a much sweeter reward.

I agree. But it is fun to speculate what is going to happen next.

Solo1, i think there are 2 types of receivers...... those who cannot wait to get that christmas pressie. they'll search all cupboards, ask 20 questions, etc. just to get a hint of that gift. Then there is the category that you & i fall into. Don't even mention the present to us.... the excitement when we finally unwrap is going to be so worth the wait!

Such a deep analogy i know LOL! That's just what I'm reminded of when i hear of people checking out trailers over & over and analysing them over & over. Not a bad thing - just the direction some people need to take to experience their excitement.

Personally, i can't stand seeing sports results early let alone learning too much about revolutions!

one of the best characters of The Matrix Reloaded, I HOPE that he'll Fight by Neo's Side, One of the only charachters who CAN beat Neo, besides Seraph (also one of the coolest Characters of the movie) Then will get sumthin like The APOCALYPS comin True :D :D :D just imagine, an army of Smiths and Neo and Morpheus and Trinity Fighting against an whole army, Damn i can't wait to see Revolutions :D

I really like Smith he's my second favourite charater after neo. but I wouldn't want him switching sides I like Smith being evil.

your right about the trailers, they should show some other part then the good ones well really the whole movie i bet will be good just not by showing us on previews.

I really hope Smith beats Neo. I don't know how, but if he gets the power Neo has already (flying e.t.c) then thousands of Smiths should beat him (I hope). Well, someone from the Nebudchadnezzar should die (in my opinion). I believe, it's Morpheus, but if Smith kills Trinity the fight scene in rain would become even more interesting. You know, thousands of Smith against 1 angry Neo! Oh, I Can't wait till November!!!!

Or what's even better with that thought is that what if Neo was fighting Smith, knowing that he killed Trinity AND Morpheus....hehe.....the loner....

Brings new meaning to the one....the one and only...unless you count Link too....

you have to love this guy. Forget the powers etc the best thing about smith is his humour. In the first matrix when he captures morpheus and he's giving that speach about humans being like a virus and how he hates the smell of the matrix - that makes me laugh everytime lol

Smith, Smith, Smith... is there no other virus as great as Smith? My prediction of the end all, be all battle between Smith and Mr. Anderson will end up with Smith as the victor because of one sole reason: there will always be evil. Mr. Anderson represents the good of the world (not a lot of it but it's enough to get the job does... usually). Smith represents the evil of the world (evil outnumbers good tremendously at all times and can never be truly destroyed). If the world was wiped clean of evil it would tear itself apart. No sense of balance. Think of it this way: if you got everything you wanted without trying, the want alone would give you what you wanted, you would grow bored with life and try to find something challenging. The search for something challenging would lead towards the sadistic: murders, chaos, and all that loveliness. It would lead to that because that would be the last challenge left in the world, to take a life and destroy. And thus the world would tear itself apart. But back to Smith. Unless Smith is an evolving virus, he's peaked at his abilities in the metaphysical sense (i.e., copying). But that doesn't mean that he won't become more advanced in the physical sense. He can become stronger and faster just as any other being can if he trains himself to (and more than likely he did... six months is a lot of time to do so). Mr. Anderson has the potential to become stronger in all senses but he more than likely won't because he's still human. Being human means being afraid of becoming a god because there's the possibility of harming others around you. Being a human means caring for others and caring about the consequences of your actions. Neo proved this when he went off to save Trinity. There was a third option in the Architect's Room: Mr. Anderson could've killed the Architect. One of three things would've happened: the Architect's death would've shut down the Matrix and freed everyone, the Architect's death would've shut down the Matrix and killed everyone, or the Architect's death would've done nothing. But since Mr. Anderson didn't forsake his humanity we won't know what would've happened. If Smith was in Mr. Anderson's place, he probably would've killed the Architect not caring about the consequences. As you've probably noticed by now, I refer to Smith as "Smith" and not "Agent Smith". I figured that since he was free he's no longer an agent and doesn't need that constricting surname. And you've probably also noticed that I refer to Neo as "Mr. Anderson". The reason is simple: I like Smith more than Mr. Anderson. I have a theory about Mr. Anderson and Smith's place in the previous Matrixes. After Smith gave Mr. Anderson the earpiece he had a small conversation with himself. He said that things we're going almost exactly as before. And then I started examining Smith and Mr. Anderson's conversation before the Burly Brawl in depth. Not just what they were saying but their body language and anything else I could and then it came to me: Smith is Mr. Anderson's executioner. Smith was talking about how Mr. Anderson took away his purpose when Neo came back to life. Now Smith doesn't seem to be the vain type but Mr. Anderson's revival struck a deep chord within himself and thus proves my theory. Smith was created for the sole purpose to kill Mr. Anderson. But Smith got too anxious in this sixth Matrix killed him a tad soon. Mr. Anderson was revived because the Matrix needed him to be alive and not because of Trinity. Smith was never supposed to kill Mr. Anderson: just attempt to. And then Mr. Anderson freed Smith. Not because he dove into Smith (Smith took a collision to a trail... you think an explosion's gonna do something?) but because Smith's purpose was taken away. If Smith's sole reason for being, killing Mr. Anderson, can't be done then why continue serving? Smith isn't rejoicing, though. For 600 years that has been his purpose and when he finally did it, it came back. So he's obsessing over Mr. Anderson now. He wants to kill him in the worst way. He knows what Mr. Anderson's purpose is and wants to take it away. An eye for an eye. This is all my theory, anyway. Praise or jeer.

If Mr. Anderson is stronger than Smith, why'd he flee? And Smith's not changing sides... hopefully.

I think it wouldn't be long before some hacker dude starts writing a real virus called smith to infect PCs all over.
