My thoughts on the Matrix Reloaded

Your Last Hope

Hi people i would first like to say "HI" to everyone cos i'm a newbie as we like to call them and so far this looks like a slammin web site so thumbs up! Anyhoo i went to see the Matrix Reloaded and the first scene was very cool and i feel got everyones attention. I think the film was very good in the form of fights scenes and being a Keanu fan from the very begining of his career i thought he did a band up job (very sexy). I hate Trinity purly from jealousy lol but she did ok i guess, as always morpheus (sorry if its spelt wrong) was very inspiring. As for the evil twins they were fantastic i hope they are in the next one. However and i don't know if anyone agrees with me on this but i felt that some of the areas were a bit dry and long winded especially for those who didn't really understand the first one like near the end with the old guy god i almost fell asleep. But other then that i would give it 9/10 for story but 10/10 for fight scenes and special effects.
Terikan

yeah, they shoulda just taken the old guy out of the movie!
funkyhorror

i think not!! that was an excellent scene... and a needed one at that... :)
Smith's Bane

If you guys are referring to the Architect I can't see any reason why you wouldn't have wanted that part in the movie.

It was a bit confusing I'll admit, but in a matter of 4 or 5 minutes you learn are given an a$$load of info about the background of the Matrix and the movie's storyline.

In terms of the plot part of the movie, the Architect scene was by far the best. That totally summed up so many of the questions that we would have otherwise been left still pondering.
Terikan

it's called sarcasm

I didn't want to be too mean about it, but you wouldn't have the same movie without the architect. That conversation is the most important one in the movie.
MatRicks

I think the arcitech's scene was really important to the entire story!
Naraku

I didn't really listen during the part with the Architech. I kind of fell asleep during that part; I saw the late viewing you see. I woke up after it though, so yeah. I am going to see it again next week, so I should catch up on the hell he was talking about.

I think the film was awesome all the way through, but the ending could have been a lot better. I didn't really like the ending at all, especially when it left you blind as to what was going to happen next. It just makes me want to see the next one really badly.
CraHan

Well the architect scene near the end of the movie is by far the most important, yet the hardest to grasp, one. After a whole slew of action sequences where a lot of peoples minds are set to 0, you get a 10 minute discussion using some pretty difficult words. Someone warned me for this so I knew I'd better perk up and sharpen the senses a bit more (and even then it was pretty hard to grasp what he was going on about).
Morpheus1

i think the architect put alot into neo head to let him under stand what can happen and what cant happen, to make his own choic or to be told what to do the rest of his life. so he should stay and he should be in the naxt one to.
Smith's Bane

I can't remember for sure what thread it was in, but if you look around you can find one that has links to the complete discussions between:

Neo and the Architect
Neo and the Oracle
Neo and Smith

If I can find them I will try to post a link or let you know what thread to look in.
