The Twins: 1 persona/2 bodies

the twins are not individual programs with the same cause, they have one mind but have 2 bodies to operate. They only refer to themselves as "we" instead of "I" or "me"

EXAMPLE: in the freeway scene one twin says "WE are getting aggrovated" and the other says "yes WE are"

am i wrong on this?

yes i agree they are from the same programme .......hummm in that case could it mean that there could be more then that?? like the whole army of smiths! they rock though don't they when they go all phantom like its cool.

Close, but not what i mean... they are ONE program being. But with duel bodies! :) (they dont have their own individual thoughts. They have the same "simultanious" thought)

I think your right there, they are similar to Borgs in Startrek, they have one mind.

Just some info about the twins:

They are British and they actually present a programme called Better Homes, which is a programme all about re-decorating your home.

They both hold 2nd degree blackbelt in Karate.

They got the job on their first audition, they just started to fight each other until the casting guy said, 'ENOUGH' (in a very impressed way) you both got the job.

Just thought I'd share that with everyone.

It's possible.

However, after a 24 hour long car trip, I may speak to the others in the car and say "We are tired", but that doesn't necessarily mean we're a whole. You can just assume we're tired because we've been driving for so long. Something to that effect, at least.

Another great line in the movie:

"but first I must apologize..."

but the twins have not been sittin in a car for 24 hours. The Wachowski brothers would not have made them say (we are aggrovated .....yes we are) their line like they did, if it wasnt for a reason to let the audience know that they are 1 persona(think as a "one")

I'd say, using object-oriented programming terms of today, that they're 2 different objects of the same class. So technically they'd be two different things with the same purpose, but aren't mentally connected.

but u also got to consider the fact that they didnt have the choice to be two bodies. Have you also considered the fact that they only say something when they are frusterated or upset?

I say "they" because even though they are 1 mind sowd-a-speak, they still have two bodies so technically you cant call "them" "you". They are two bodies to everybody else, but to them they are the same persona.

it sounds a little complex at first, but yey, so is the whole matrix story in general! LoL

no your not rong the twins r one moind in two bodies thats y with we are agrovated n ****, and thats y they can function as one. like when they are fight morphious when ones a ghost and the others fighting then the one whos fighting turns into a ghost then the other one who wasnt fighting startes fighting ect...

I like to think of them as identical sub-routines, performing their function symultaneously, thus the dialogue is much the same as twins who finish each other's sentences.

It is plausable, but I agree with Araxis in them being two different instantiations of the same object. Following off the same idea in the agent training program of it being full of twins and triplets.

I still say they are as one. Twin means 2 the same and apparently the greek meaning is one concousness. I don't know if thats true but its what I heard.
