Neo's power outside Matrix

Image-maker

Today, me and a couple friends were talking about how Neo stopped the Sentinals at the end of Reloaded.

He proposed that, it wasn't Neo that stopped the sentinals. He believes it was the architect that stoped the sentinals, since he obliviosly controls them. The reason the architect stopped them was because Neo picked the wrong door and saved Trinity at the end. Like he said, if he picked the left door, the matrix would be destroyed or something like that, so when the Sentinals tried to kill Neo after they destroyed Morpheus's ship, the Architect shut them down to prevent the extermination of man-kind, therefore preserving the matrix.
doggysnatch

...at the EXACT same time that neo felt his connection with the machines, and extended his arm to do whatever he thought he could do

doubt it

plus, why'd he go into a coma then?
smithie

i doubt that the architect did it, why bother not doing it like before the sentinal threw the bomb and that way the neb would not have been destroyed, why does that have to happen, the whole sentinal thing is contraversial, oh well.

it could only mean one thing:

they are inside another matrix, and neo has just realized that.

im not gonna give you reazons (just ask if you want, and ill post the reazons) but i highly believe in that.

Thats what my friends and i thought, "real world" is another matrix. alot like the movie the thirteenth floor

Oh my God, not another matrix! I couldn't handle that!!

I think we are seeing, for the first time, that Neo has powers that go beyond the world of code. His connection crosses over the boundary from the matrix into the real world. Just like Agent Smith does!

I reckon matrix inside the matrix aswell neo feels the sentinels before he controls them, something he can do in the matrix! When he feels them he decides to try and control them like he does inside the matrix. He controls them and comes to the realisation that the real world is an extension of the matrix and the truth is overwhelming hence the coma. To further back up the argument that the real world is outside the matrix, the creator says 99% accepted the programming of the matrix but what to do with the 1%, create a matrix outside the matrix that satisfies there imagination and keeps them under CONTROL. Revolutions ends up with neo breaking out of the real world and releasing the human race properly. This is only my theory and the idea kind of comes from existenz, the game inside a game theory.
Would love to hear responses to this one!!!!!!1

This is really frying my brain to an extraordinary degree. I will have to re-watch both films again to understand a little more, I think.

I do, however, hope that the Matrix within the Matrix theory is false.

The fact that Neo can manipulate the Zion world only proves that that world is really another Matrix. The real question is, why is Neo in a coma? I think that his mind is free and he's walking around in the Real World. Sence his conciousness left his body, his body went limb, and seemed like he's ina coma. Either that or it was just such an overload to his system it knocked him out, or the Arcitect shut him down after he realized his knew about the Zion Matrix to prevent him from ruining everthing. These are my working theories, it's all real simple once you look at it. I think it's funny how the Agents at the begining refered to him as the Anomely, which you know about until later. Sence Neo says the new agents are Upgrades, I think the Arcitect has several back up plans in case The One succeeds.

whiterabbit has a point. I also believe there are 2 matrix. Just think about the explanation some guys here gave ... about the architect. makes sence to me.

Yes, either there is two Matrices, or one BIG matrix ("real world" plus "Neo with sunglases world" together).

A funny thought: Neo is to choose (if he chooses to save Zion) who is to stay and rebuild Zion. Then, the Architect must as well know those persons Neo picks, because how can he esle know who to save and who to kill? Remember: The Architect is inside the Matrix ("sunglases" world), so wouldn't it be strange if he somehow knows a thing about Zion? Oh, one other thing. Of all people Neo can choose of, wouldn't the Architect have to know all humans, so that he can spare them to rebuild Zion?

It is obvious that the real worlds has a matrix, not the computer one. This is the definition of a matrix. It is just that with this movie has been focus on a computer matrix. The real world has programs too, not as confined to a computer though. Thus as Neo gets this and stops the Sentinals, his biological organism is overloaded by the amount of energy neccessay. It looks like he find out how to do this with out all the effort , like the computer matrix. Neo is mobving from a system specific pattern into a general patterm of the unviverse. The architect can never control a system completly since all systems have rondom element. Study Chaos thery and General Sytems theory. The third movie looks like a battle between the anomolie of light (Neo) and the anomolie of dark ( Dr. Smith). Too discover the ultimate source of the universe not just the computer matrix. Any thoughts?
