i was wondering what the meaning of the spoon that was giving to neo from the orphan before he went back to the matrix for the last time?

as stated in another thread....the spoon part was there as a way of stopping bane from killing neo

something like everyone that neo comes in contact with alters the path of the one....so perhaps the spoon kid was meant to save him at that time
