Animatrix on UK television Channel 5

I was surprised to see a episode from the Animatrix on television last night and thought I was hearing things when they said there was going to be more episodes of it shown over the next 7 weeks. bellow is the scedule for the first few episodes being shown on Channel 5:

Starting: 00:30 on Saturday 31st May. Duration: 10 minutes. Showing on Five.

Animatrix: Second Renaissance (Animation)
Starting: 00:50 on Sunday 1st June. Duration: 10 minutes. Showing on Five.

Animatrix: KID's Story (Animation)
Starting: 00:00 on Monday 2nd June. Duration: 15 minutes. Showing on Five.

Animatrix: World Record (Animation)
Starting: 00:05 on Tuesday 3rd June. Duration: 15 minutes. Showing on Five.



Cant wait to see them.

Yeah, I saw that on C5- it was well good, the chinese girl was soo fit, even though she was computer generated, lol.

I wonder why they're on so late though, I would've thought lots of people wanted to see em and they'd show em in prime-time.

Please pull me up if im wrong, but doesn't anime fall under the concept of computer animation ? If so 'final flight of Osiris' is anime.
Albeit it is of the same quality of final fantasy, but still anime none the less?
