im confused

ok, this may sound stupid-

in the first movie what exactly does neo do to agent smith at the end of the movie? i was under the impression he had somehow altered the matrix code and deleted him. why is he back for the second movie? :confused:

yeah, you'd think that would have led to a deleted program or so corrupted that he would be dead.

But trailers show a whole different twist! See the Smith poster? Awesome!

yes ive seen the smith poster, what i don't get is how he is back and how he can now project himself? could they have 'reinstalled' his program? or is he somehow improving himself as the AI discussions have suggested is possible?

Time will tell.

I think the simple explanation is that making him explode into many pieces only desolidifed his form in his program.

When you see him explode, you see that one piece of his head fly by screaming in M1.

Well, I know in the case of my pr0n, I can make a million copies of the same JPG if I really want to. And if it gets deleted, Nothing is really lost if they're running on a windows/dos system. Norton Utilities may still exist in the future.

hahah, Norton. They will be around in the future if they are allowed to reboot the matrix due to Norton lockups every so often...

ah yes. now it all makes sense! NORTONS IS TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!! AH! hehehe. I geuss the only other Smith question i really have is: what makes him the leader? is it just luck of the draw and he won or is he the newest program or what?

No idea how he was made leader, but I have to guess that maybe AI has differences between units and the matrix mainframe recognizes as such, giving him a little more functionality or power.

but if the matrix can reinstall any deleted things (i.e mr smith) than isnt neo and the war hopless
my theory is that he disabled or locked tor uninstalled mr. smith but didnt get rid of him completly the matrix just reinstalled him so hell have 2 delete him not just remove agents

mr. smith isnt a leader he is never shown as a leader i think of it like a news reporter or newspaper writer evry1 gets an assignment 2 lead
mr. smith led the assingment of fighting neo (who 2 them was just a random potentila)so i guess it is luck of the draw in a way

I watched the tv spot trailer and it seems that neo actually set the agent free!!! that's how he says in it. agent smith goes to some house and says " where can I find Neo, you see, he set me free". but I dunno how

he is back just becouse he still has the face of him, he is the robot inside, and the other robots make his like they want, and program everything, so that he remembers how neo killed him.

my littlebrother feels bad when he thinks, that when an agent takes a human on matrix (takes his body or something like that)
he says:
-its someones granpa! Neo kills him! an innecend civil!
