When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off our walkmans.

When 2Pac and Biggie where alive.

POGS

When Christmas was the most exciting time of year.

When $5 seemed like a million, & another dollar a miracle.

When you begged to go to McDonalds for dinner everyday.

When Toys R Us overuled the mall.

Go back to the time when:

Decisions were made by going 'eeny-meeny-miney-moe'.

Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming 'do over!'

'Race issue' ment arguing about who ran the fastest.

Money issues were handled by whoever was banker in 'Monopoly'.

It wasn't odd to have two or three 'best' friends.

Being old referred to anyone over 20.

A chance to skate as a couple at the local roller rink was like winning the lottery.

Scrapes & bruises were kissed & made better.

It was a big deal to finally be tall enough to ride the 'big people' rides at the fair.

When playing Nintendo was the hardest thing ever.

When Ninja Turtles ruled the world.

Who would have thought youd miss the 90's so much.
NMN

Notice most of that stuff died and went away with the inauguration of Bush. Funny.
Splinter

That sonofa.....bring back Clinton!
Eon

Man, I'd forgotten about half that shit....I'm glad some of it died.
Swampy

Who loves Orange Soda?
Kel Loves Orange Soda,
Is it tru-uuee?
I Do, I Do, I Do-ooo

Those were some good times, but damn if you think this is bad you guys want to look back at what was going on back in the 80's and whats still left of that. Some of us remember Transformers, Thundercats, Alf, Big foot and the Hendersons and many other even older outstanding prorammes.
Apollo440

i Remember G-Force (sometimes called Battle of the Planets) what i can remember of that (being born in the late 80's and all) it was good, but when your young you're kinda naive about it all, i saw one of those 'good' Power Rangers a few weeks ago where Jason was the red one, Billy was the blue one, now its just very tacky...
Swampy

Battle of the Planets was class, but do you remember Captain Planet? That was nasty.

As to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, What was the Green Ranger called?
veradis

Oh, man, this really takes me back. I loved every single one of those shows. Never missed an episode of Power Rangers- I was the pink one. Natalie, I think. Can't remember who the green one was. Oh, my little cousin loves the new Power Rangers, so I got my hands on a copy of the original series to show him what it was like in my day. Those should never be watched again- it ruins all your old memories. They're even cheesier than the ones on now.
Eon

but do you remember Captain Planet? That was nasty.

Hey I liked Captain Planet, I wanted one of those rings so I could go around setting shit on fire...granted he's pretty corny now, but when you're 6 he's the bomb.
And didn't Phil Collins write the theme music to that show? The poor bastard must have been desperate.
Neo Xavier McLeod

Now you know how bad it is with reruns here...

Kenan and Kel is still being aired here...

But who can forget about...

*drums please*

Saved By The Bell (that WAS the 90's right?)
veradis

I think Kenan and Kel still has reruns going here, but I don't see it that often, I don't even have cable. If I really want to see those guys though, I'll just pop in the old Good Burger vhs or watch SNL- seeing Keenan on that brings back the good old days. Saved By the Bell was an amazing show, I don't know why it's never on any more.
Helios

Saved by the bell had a horrid color scheme going on, I think there was just a hint of 80's pastel mixed in there.
Apollo440

The pink one was Kimberly

the green one was.......Tommy i think, he came into it really late though, i can't remember the yellow ones name though.

On another note i used to enjoy The Real Ghostbusters
ThereIsNoMatrix

Captain Planet, he's our hero, gonna take pollution down to zero!

Mid-90's SNL was the prime of that show's life. Farley, Spade, Ferrell, Sandler, and a bunch of others united to create shit that's still hilarious to this day.
Splinter

I'm sorry, you forgot one TV show that the kids of today don't have the pleasure to watching - Gumby. He was the shit.
NMN

Power Rangers was the poo, bitches.

"Mastodon.... Triceratops.... Pterydactyl.... Sabertooth Tiger.... Tyrannosaurus Rex....!

Just for you Jade....and for old times sake.

Ah the 90's...
Somehow Guns n' Roses reminds me of the 90's.
"Take me back to the paradise city where the grass is green and the girls are pretty, Oh won't you just take me home."

or the Bare Naked Ladies...

HAh, the boys in the hall, new kids on the block...

I watched a lot of star trek when I was a kid too so TNG reminds me of the early 90's.

The hair... oh god the hair! TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES! Still 80's, but whatever.

How can I forget, the Super Nintendo!
And when arcades were still somewhat popular! Eh, that's kind of 80's as well.

Playing marbles at school!
Or Pogs! lol.
Devil sticks,
when the yo yo made a short comeback, with those easy to use automatically retractable ones.

The birth of counter-strike in late 90's... proceeding Half-Life!
