Okay...This is a serious thread. A seed message is posted, and the ones after who wish to post will then post the next "chapter."
Let's begin...
Red ran.
All he knew was that he was somewhere in the Grand Tetons. The air was cold; when it blew, it stung his skin like millions of sterile needles. His clothes were torn, and he was battered and bruised, but he was alive.
He was the only one to escape.
The Agents had killed all the others. They were trying to free a mind. The Agents found them and destroyed them. Red was relieving himself at that time, and emerged from the restroom just in time to see his friends murdered. Then the operator--the new guy, Tank--said that he couldn't be jacked out because of an equipment failure, so he was trapped.
Trapped in the Matrix.
Red stopped to admire the irony. The Matrix was a trap for the mind, and he, who was free of it, was now ensnared in it again.
He stopped at the top of the mountain, and in the sunset and clouds near the horizon he could see a nearly full moon.
He laughed. He had all the time in the world.
