I have a new timewasting obsession: Google Video (http://video.google.com). Google video lets you upload whatever the hell you want, as long as it's in video format, and lets you search for and view every video in its collection.
Our mission is to organize the world's information, and that includes video. Google Video offers viewers a way to see material from archived TV programs, educational videos, personal productions and more.
Just type in your search term (for instance, ipod or Napa Valley) or do a more advanced search (for instance, title:nightline) and Google Video will search the closed captioning and text descriptions of all the videos in our archive for relevant results. Click on a video title on your results page and you can view still images from the video and, where a transcript is available, short snippets of transcript text.
It looks like the growing internet glutton that is Google just keeps on getting bigger. Now Im waiting for the Google answer to iTunes.

Google video is definitely something to do when youre bored. Although, it surprisingly doesnt bring up porn even if u search for it (had to test it ) :wicked:
A few funny ones that I have come across in a few minutes of browsing tonight.
Its short and kind of weak, but imagery cracks me up.

Yeah its a double post but I figured there was no point in creating a new thread since its all about what Google is doing next.
Users can type in two different cities, or airport codes, in the Google search box to bring up two boxes for entering departing and returning flight dates. Below those are links to the travel Web sites Expedia, Hotwire and Orbitz. Clicking on one of those links leads directly to flight options for your selected itinerary on that site.
"Google is testing a new search feature for specific flight inquiries between two points," Google said in an e-mailed statement.
he feature went live Oct. 13, a Google spokeswoman said. Meanwhile, Yahoo on Wednesday debuted its new Trip Planner beta, which allows people to create, share and print personalized trip itineraries.
Earlier this week, Google quietly began testing a new service to enable people to post and make searchable any type of content, including used-car listings, which some speculated would put it in competition with online auctioneer eBay.

Wow Google never ceases to amaze me. Pretty soon there wont be anything concievable that isnt searchable.
Speaking of google though, I tried out their web accelerator thing today(pointless since I have cable but whatever), and so far it works pretty good. It works on the same principle of your own web browser cache, except its permanent.
