Yes, that is a good article. I'm seriously hoping the release some new official footage soon. There's a couple nice cam videos floating around the net, and the gameplay looks great. However, I hope Shiny will release a new trailer and more screen shots etc. to keep fans on their toes. Oh, and a box-cover right about now would be nice. if you want a few pictures you may not have seen just ask That cover's been out for a while. No retailer is using that cover, they still say cover art not available. But, its possible. I WANT!!!!!! Am I the only one very unimpressed with the graphics or gameplay that was demonstratd in that 'in-game' footage? The graphics looks decent, not the best I've seen. The quality of the movie was't that great, though, so that didn't make it look very awesome. The gameplay looks a little weird.
I, unfortunately, won't be getting this game. Don't have the time anymore to game. Keep in mind its only demo footage to promote the game its not the final product and it is the PS2 after all, getting all those Smiths on screen is an amazing thing for the Playstation You know, it really doesnt matter. I have Alpha tested games before and I have Beta tested games before. The graphics dont just improve over night before the game goes Gold. The only thing that they could say is they were running it with every possible detail option turned off. That would just bother me even more if I was thinking about playing this on a console. Well i know for a fact that they had to turn the Smtih shadows off (you probably noticed this yourself) but thats the Playstation for you! The Xbox version, what I'm getting, will be much better according to Dave Perry himself. Anyone? Well I bought the game yesterday, the day it OFFICIALLY came out, and I must say, though I am not very far into it, it is AWESOME!! Obviously, you can play Neo, and that makes it so much more cooler than ETM. The combat is highly evolved, and much more intricate than ETM. It is very cool, and the graphics are also way better. The storyline is more interesting.....the game's just way better through and through, completely worth the 50 dollar retail price I paid. I highly suggest everybody to purchase the game if you are a gamer. It is an interesting storyline, excellent combat, good graphics, overall, just an excellent game. I give it a 9/10, just docking one point because it's obvioulsy not perfect, and because I have not fully played it yet.
GO OUT AND BUY IT!! I haven't read much about it, just the basics. Isn't the storyline pretty much the same one we already know? It seems that the story line has changed on a few parts. and choices you can make.
Like when Anderson is in the office. and he has to climb out of the window. In the movie he chickens out. but you can choose there wether you go on or not. if you don't chicken out. You will get a bonus. :P

I want to have the game. and Im gonna have it the 11th I've played a little bit more since I last posted, and the storyline IS different. Instead of training straight with Morpheus, you go through several training levels during which Tank talks to you. And let me tell you, the combat looks freakin SICK!!! It's really intricate, and more precise, but not like Tekken or Soul Calibur intricate. PON (Path of Neo) finds the perfect balance between ETM and SC. And let me say again IT LOOKS FREAKIN SICK!!! I LOVE THIS GAME!!! The bullet time you can go into looks wonderful, a million billion times better than ETM.
And here's a little trivia bit, a tantalizing bit of meat to make some of you want to buy the game. Have any of you ever seen the Jackie Chan film, Legend of the Drunken Master? THAT SET IS IN THE GAME!! NEO FIGHTS THE AX GANG IN THAT SET IN THE TRAINING LEVEL!! GO BUY THE GAME!! AAAAAHHHH!! You'll find a lot of references to old Kung Fu films within the game, Seraphs fight on the poles for example (Neo and Seraphs teahouse fight goes outside into chinatown where the fight on flaming poles) if a referecnce to a very old kung fu film, its Iron something Monkey or Fist not sure really I am really loving this game! The hand2hand combat is amazing, film quality moves. Im on 'The Witch' right now. Yeah i got it today myself haven't stopped playing it, i am actually begining to see code whereever i look...

(Problem solved just reinstalled my driver) Glad to hear it, i can't believe i was worried about the flash thing you can hardly notice it, great game though now i think i'll try and complete it on Hard or The One difficulty (if there is one) I am worried now. I dont see the people in the game (No neo No morpheus at the start just a few flying pills. OMG this is bad) Try changing something in the options screen! make those pills have hands on the end... Changed a few settings they are as low as can be but I dont see any people. I took the red pill (Of course) and get set in the first fightscene but its hard to fight when you dont see your enemies........ That's quite strange.....
Anyways, I've played mine some more, and I'm changing my review to an 8/10, only because the camera can sometimes get annoying, but overall I think the camera is very good, considering that in a lot of fighting games it's often hella annoying, all the time. I also think the moves could use a tiny bit more variety, but that's okay, cuz the moves are still amazing. I have the PC version. Just saw my Graphics card isnt supported *Pardon my french* God DAMNED.

EDIT2: Patch didn't work only for USA retail and ofcourse I have the dutch one. DAMN I just beat the game 2 days ago, overall I feel its a great game. The RSI's of the Wachowskis came on the screen to introduce the new ending, which was perfect for a videogame version of the matrix. I REALLY LOVE that CGI cinematic that shows Neo climbing out of the crater and all the smiths rushing to build the megasmith, fantastic!!! I highly recommend this game. Anyhoo last night i started playing on The One difficulty, i've just completed the first film on that difficulty and i must say defeating foes on the high level you really feel like you earned it, the Smith Subway fight for example feels much more intense even though its only the difficulty thats changed (points at the thread's title) It wasn't always like that you know.... Sorry but I think everyone knew about the wachowski's introducing the new ending, and Megasmith wont mean anything unless you play the game. Thats why i didnt mark it as a spoiler. Im playing again on Master difficulty, its a little tougher, cant wait to play as the One, I really want that Unlimited health! Thanks veradis. Although I unlocked 4 out of 6 cheats after beating the game on easy (i think i found most of the briefcases, which may be why). The reflect bullets and infinite health are the only cheats I dont have. **POSSIBLE SPOILER**

Just to let everyone know, before the question becomes a pointless quest for answers....
After you've unlocked the Zion Archives, selectable from the select level feature, you might be wondering what the heck they are. As was I when i first got there...and after some heavy debating elsewhere online, many people couldnt quite figure out what it was or what it might mean.
Most were determined to discover whether or not you could activate the characters or unlock them somehow to play as them or whatever. Well, here's the answer. While I dont doubt that it's possible to play as them in some way or another, seeing as they are actual, potentially fully functioning character models, a strategy guide I was flipping through while at EB GAMES the other day says the Zion Archives as no more than just a sort of 3D art gallery, to show discarded and unused character models. Who they were and what they were going to be used for isn't discussed, and maybe will be revealed somewhere at some point and time. But that's all it is (for now anyway), just a place they can show us concept designs as they truly were, rather than just a picture of one. ***Also small spoiler***
Well yesterday i was looking through Zion Archives and i discovered something i haven't seen anyone mention so far, there are two small green toys in the Archive, one of which is behind Shirtless Neo and the other is behind the Rabbit too the right, i don't know what they are or what they do but i thought i'd mention it Well, I hear people are claiming that those green things are actually a form of easter egg, hidden by Shiny. They say its a rendition of a character used in one of the "Clayfighter" games, from back in the old 16-bit gaming era. I haven't checked it out to verify that claim though. Well now that you mention it the do have clay like features (basing this on the Knoxs videos of course) i've only found two so far but i'll keep checking about see if i can't find more, theres probably lots of secrets in the Merovingians Maze there just really well hidden, even the Super Brawl hosted a kinda new thing the last time i played, when you fight Smith in the Skybarn (or a similar building to the one in the film anyway) Smith jumped up i dodged and we both fell through the floor picked up girders and kept going at it, now this may have happened to everyone else but it proves that things turn out differently each time you play and depending on how different it is, it may change the path you follow exposing new secrets and such. Well Ive beaten the game twice now, once on disciple and again on Master. I cant seem to unlock the The One difficulty because Smith keeps killing me at the end of the dream lobby. Well use evade more in the fights, if you've beaten it on Master then you should have no problem beating Smith, when i went to unlock the One i found him quite easy to beat All in all, this was a very solid game but at times it seemed like someone went on an acid trip late at night and decided to get some coding done. eg: The House of Esher level (not sure what it's called) and the finale (especially the music). Seraph's test was also the most annoying level ever. I had to turn the computer over to my friend just because the game play was totally changed. And what was up with fighting in front of the movie screen? Was someone trying to be funny? I found the fight in the senate to be absolutely hysterical. I noticed a few funny easter eggs too. In the Fall of the House of Esher (again, not sure what it was called) one of the paintings is of a man standing next to a horse. It could be George Washington or something. If you look closely, they are both wearing matrix sunglasses. Some of the signs are pretty funny. There are a few posters for Nvidia, one for Sunglasses and Trenchcoats, one for Red Pill Herbalism (or something like that). Anyways, there's my little rant. See you guys again in a few weeks when I get in a Matrix mood again... WOAH... installed my new Graphics card and played the game for the past hour. Im at the bar fight level. (the training) and I just had to stop because Im getting totally addicted to the game. Gameplay is WOAH. graphix are WOAH. everything up till now is just WOAH. oh and I didnt let Smith get me at the escape scene. I escaped. hahahahaha. Time Trail training I had 14890 or something like that haahahahaha...
