Sophie pressed enter and the file was saved, she got off her seat and left the computer access the screensaver... pictures of her and a guy (DGt), and city sights, specially subways, she was obsessed with them ever since she was a child and believed she could contact ghosts there. Her eyes red of caffeine and the glowing monitor. Once she was kinda away she managed to jump to her bed, she closed her eyes and heard a bleep from her computer.
Sophie
"What the hell?"
She got up in a second, and rushed over it. A Winamp like program started running, and a song played:
"... you see colors no one else can see, in every breath you hear a symphony, you understand me like nobody can..."
Sophie
"Who's that...?! Damnit! A Trojan!"
She ran and tryied hitting the shut-off button, but it didn't turn off, she unplugged it and the song was still blasting
"...when this whole world gets too crazy, and there's no one left to know, I know you give me straightfull loving, you're the only truth at all..."
Then the screen and the sound went off.
She plugs it again and it is not working, tries again, and it does. But when searching her file, she doesn't find it. She hits the desk with her fist.
Sophie
"Screw you! Stupid insensitive machine!" Says like talking directly to the computer, she gives it a dirty look. Then, looks at it differently, like noticing something on it.
Sophie
"The Trojan... did noth-" passes out of tireness.

Sophie wakes up in the floor and with all her face red of just waking up, grabs a cup of cold coffee and drinks of it. Tumbling, gets to the desk and tries searching a file called "Gr33N K0d3", she finds it, she smiles to herself. She looks down at her desk she finds a note which read: "I wuz runnin' away 4m tha truth, forgiveness is whut I ask 4m u, DGt". She smiled to herself, it was a note from DGt...

Based on how humans depend on machines, computarized systems, and how on a crash, the mankind falls, by relying their business on them. Just to say it in a few lines.
She never really knew why DGt called her Zoe, he used to say it was her next incarnation's name, the name of the more enlighted her. They did never talk about it seriously.
Of course, nobody wanted to publish her stories, besides the fact she was 16 years old, she was well known as an insane girl who had gotten worse by the disappearance of Demian Glint, her lover... thought dead once found a corpse in descomposition, attributed being him, and signing her books with the name that her "dead" lover gave her"

Sophie talking to herself, not to feel alone.
"Wait... I don't remember having read this note before... -looks at it weirdly-... don't be so illussioned, gal... he's a goner now."
She clicked the printing icon on the screen and the copy of "Gr33N K0d3", to be sent to publishers.
Sophie
"I refuse to be told you're dead!! -hits again the desk with her fist- You're NOT DEAD!!" She falls to her knees, tears cascading down her cheeks, her long slim dreadlocks dancing when so. She opens a box DGt's own taggedo on it, he had done it the day before he disappeared. Surprise almost killed her when she saw a new graffiti sketch, even painted that said Z.O.E really mean big round red letters, with a black background and tiny green symbols she didn't understand, and in silver a tag that said "u r Zion On Earth!", she didn't know wether to run away, cry or keep admiring his artwork.
She started looking nervously in all directions, then got up.
Sophie
"Alive... you're... alive.- She said as she looked again and again at the sketch... which basically- it ain't a sketch, it's a complete drawing...the -she started looking everywhere in the room, in a circle, then back at the sketch- green... code."
Once she finished saying the word "code", both the doorbell and her cellphone rang, she had to decide.
Sophie
"Damn door!" -she whispered as she reached for the cell
DGt on the phone
"Zoe, run away! The window! Now!" -click
Sophie couldn't believe it, DGt had contacted her and no matter what, the thing was getting ugly, he sounded too bad. The knocks on the door were each time more violent.
Apartment Owner
"Sophie, dearie, open the door! Some, some publishers want to talk to you!" trembling voice of an old woman.
On the other side of the door we see that the woman is afraid and a cop was telling the old lady something about Sophie.
Cop
"She uses another name, she's a terrorist, this young woman is very dangerous, she is an anarchist leader and..."
Apartment Owner
"...Hail Mary pray for us sinners..." as she does the sign of the cross.
She grabbed the box and a cd labelled "Gr33N K0d3", put them on her rucksack, put her celly on her pocket, opened the window, there it was the emergency exit. She popped her head out, and looked around. She jumped on the exit and ran down the stairs fastly. She landed and heard the sirens roar around the corner, the entrance of the apartment block. She looked back up and the phone rang and she answered nervously, this time it wasn't DGt, it was Owl, the operator.
Owl
"Zoe, don't ask, run to the corner of Scott and Gene. Call you back then, you just run!"
It was the opposite direction of the sound of the sirens, so she thought it was sensible to follow the stranger's call. And that weird phone call, resembling DGt. She started running... fast, faster, she never ran this fast before, her soul was talking through her body, she wanted to know about DGt.
Sophie
"Illussions! - she thought, trying to stop herself from hurting more, but she couldn't - you're alive D!"
Running, she saw nobody or nothing interesting on that corner, right when she got there, a black and silver Ford Camaro pulled up And a large man with black outfit with silver hair, silver accesories (tie, shoes, rings, earrings, etc) , opened a door.
Laapt
"Get in Zoe! Fast!"
He said in a sharp, slow tone. She still felt weird being called like that by someone else than Demian.
Sophie
"Who ar-? -a bullet hits the wall near her right ear, so she ducks and jumps into the car- goddamnit!"
She doesn't look around very much, she only sees the silver things in black background. The car speed off, she doesn't speak, she is afraid... she cannot hear anything they say.
Laapt
"Zoe! Hear me! We're taking you! We're getting you outta here!" -he shakes her so she might react.
Madsun
"Blast'er! She's gonna turn into an agent!" -she cocks the gun at Zoe's front.
Kaos (who is driving) stops the car and takes the gun out of Madsun's hands abruptly. The fifth occupant of the car was silent and does not make a single move.
Kaos
"She's in shock! -gives Madsun an angry look- didn't see you any better when you got out!" -Madsun looks down, embarrased.
Madsun
"Captain's crazy, we all might die up here by his delussion!" murmurs down his breath
Laapt slaps Madsun.
Sophie started listening and reasoning since the slap.
Laapt
"Respect the captain, respect will of a dying man!! You'll be punished!"
Sophie
"D-D-Dying...man!?" -she says softly, like awakening.
The car stops. They all look at her and doors open.
Sophie
"Hey!" -Laapt looks down and motions her to open the door. Still the fifth passenger is in the shadows. She follows Laapt's orders since he seemed to be the one in charge there.
Kaos, Madsun, Sophie and Laapt get out of the car, Laapt motions Kaos and Madsun with his left hand. They open the car's left back door and take out the unknown passenger... DGt. Sophie gasps, she's got no breath, she cannot believe what she sees. We see DGt's shirt all covered with blood and two holes.
Laapt
"Let's go downstairs!" -Laapt turns Sophie around, to face just a subway entrance.
Sophie
"HELL NO!" -tears come out of her eyes uncontrollably, but she doesn't cry out. Kaos and Madsun are carrying a "now-more-concious" DGt.
DGt
"ZOE!...You...are...here! -he has problems to speak, coughs a couple of times. - do...not...cry, please- he tries and draws a smile on his face- u...liked...it?"
Sophie dries her eyes and holds his hand as they're walking downstairs.
Sophie
"I loved it, I... just loved it!" says as they lay him on the floor of the train station. They help him to his knees, and leave the two of them alone.
Sophie
"What is it about? -he smiles, and with difficulty, takes out a box of his pocket.- you appear and we get married?" she half laughs. DGt takes a deep breath.
DGt
"Remember the day before I left? - Sophie nods- what we spoke? - Sophie nods again- Ok, -deep pause- is true, it's not a theory I built up"
Sophie
"I had lived based on that ever since -She says firmly- I believed you" -DGt grins
DGt
"So, now... -bends one knee- I'm gonna propose you enter... my world. the world I'm leaving, exit this fake, and take my place on the ship"
he shows her two pills out of the box, a red one, in his right hand, and a blue one on his left.
DGt
"It's up to you choosing, it's time for me to leave, the red one, gives you freedom, but wait, before you do, you gotta know that it's painful freedom. It's nothing like you've seen before. The blue one, takes you back to your writing, and waiting for me, or even not even remembering me. Much happier than your reality. And yes, this is my proposal"
Sophie grabs the red pill, and looks at him.

"In both realities you will not be with me, both are painful, but what I feel cannot be erased, my heart is not controlled. So as we always did 'Kiddie D', experience, and enlightment" -she swallows the red pill.
