Crazed fans

I hear some people are traveling to other states because they live in a highly populated area just so they can see the matrix reloaded kinda wierd eh!!!!

i have to get my tickets today, just in case they sell out.

either way, im sure its worth the drive!

i dont think they are driving that might take to long or they might run into bad weather accidents who knows that could set them back i read that most of em will be flying in like a day or two before it starts playing

this may sound weird, but a theater in chicago is starting to
play it on the 9th of May. I think I'll call em up right now to
confirm, but it would seem impossible.

I really dont think its going to matter where people travel to see this movie, those who love it are gonna flock to any movie house near by! I live in a small town and I promise you it will be packed, I mean geez we have waited for a LIFETIME it feels like!

Our local movie house doesnt sell in advance! :mad: And I know as sure as I am sitting here I wont be able to get in to see it till a few days after it opens, and that makes me even grumpier thinking about it!

Don't you have anything else in a neighboring town or anything?

The closest town that would offer pre sales or more places to see it is about an hour away... :(

I guess that I must be really lucky cause my husband is a contractor for theatres and I get to see it early without paying!

Last night we saw x-2 and it was fantastic.

i'll probably see it a few days after it comes out because yeah... although i could go to a midnight session on thursday...

i know i wouldn't travel elsewhere to see it because of a line up.. i'd just wait a few days... it's not going anywhere:confused:

Hey, I'm curious. I haven't been able to find out anywhere but, why is it rated R? Is it because of violence or is this one misrated again also. My kids loved the first one and they want to see this one too. But not if it's got sexxxxx. Anyone know? Thanks!

Come on, the first part was also "R" (17+Parents) but was it realy violend? No, so dont worry ;)

I think the 'dodge this' scene was as objectionable as M1 gets.

Actually, I was reading a review last night about the movie and it stated the movie is rated R !

wait, wait, wait - M1 was rated R, wasn't it? And I have heard M2 is R as well.

okay, I get it. I know that M1 was R rated. I read articles that it was misrated at the time but couldn't be changed once it was out for distribution. I just wanted to be sure that there is no heavy sex, I have a 10 year old who can't wait, like ME, to see it. She covers her eyes when people just peck each other on the lips. Thanks guys.

a 10 year old girl liked M1? Interesting. I wouldn't think it would appeal to a girl of that age.

As for the sex, no one will know until they see it, but I did see on one of the trailers a closeup of a man with no top on, laying on what looks like an enthralled Trinity with no top on.

Luc might be able to set you up with a pic from the trailer that depicts that scene. I don't imagine they get very into it, but if she covers her eyes to kissing I would think she would cover her eyes for that scene.

As a pseudo-spoiler, there is a char that makes Neo kiss her for her cooperation. I understand that's as far as it goes.

BTW: I don't believe that M1 was misrated as R (no one under 17 years old for those outside USA). With all the highschool shootings that have been around, there's no official org that would go on the record and state that M1 should be PG-13 (under 13 suggest parential guidance).

I personally would let my 14-15-16 year (if I had one) old kid watch it with me if they wanted - but I wouldn't be so bold as to think that the majority of parents would feel the same. I am willing to bet that most parents were shocked by the violence.

Not everyone can put their mind into the mindset that allows you to watch gratuitous FICTIONAL violence. If anyone wants to debate me on the matter, please feel free to start a thread.

Over here M1 was M-16 which means recommended that you are over 16 to watch it. But it doesn't stop anyone from going in.

As for M2? It's R-13. So it's probably more violent than the first. But NZ's pretty lax with the ratings...

I bought them last week (hehe... i'm going on the premiere here on thursday night, though i am in NZ so technically i see it before many people lol)
