PETA - Activists or Terrorists

Helios

I recently viewed an ad on TV about PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals if you don't know) describing how they had donated money to people who had destroyed research facilities studying AIDS and cancer using animal test subjects. I knew PETA was serious about its views, but I didn't think they would result to funding crime. The following site contains a petition you can sign to stop PETA's tax exemption.

The site also contains a recording of the leader of PETA actually advocating violence against restaurants and labs.

Your thoughts.

As a joke, a friend of mine subscribed me to a subscription to Peta magazine a few years ago. Now I'm still getting their crap, plus invites to be a bloody intern. In their kid-targeted magazines, they actually promise to publish the stories of kids who do vandalism in the name of animal welfare.
Sure, I think animals should be treated fairly, but to go so far as to encourage criminal behavior in kids? C'mon, folks. With the whole Tsunami thing, they were actually pushing people to help donate money to save the HOMELESS ANIMALS and those hurt during the disaster. What about the fucking people?!

Curse you, PETA!

Like religion, another mildly ok idea that went horribly wrong. The problem is people. Again.

So what else is new? People have always been the problem. A person is smart, people are dumb panicky and dangerous animals it seems like. PETA is an organization like the ACLU (who likes to take on cases such as the lady suing McDonalds for spilling coffee and burning herself. I'm not sure that the ACLU was directly involved, but they take on cases like this one). PETA and the ACLU are both just.......no

What is ur point?
