Not that it matters, but according to Reuters:

US judge Guantanamo tribunals unconstitutional

WASHINGTON, Jan 31 (Reuters) - A U.S. judge ruled on Monday that the Guantanamo military tribunals for terrorism suspects are unconstitutional.

In a setback for the Bush administration, U.S. District Judge Joyce Hens Green also ruled the Guantanamo prisoners have constitutional protections under the law.

I don't think anyone is going to do anything but shrug about it, but still. Thought this was behind us already.

The funny thing is that a different judge from the same district made an opposite ruling on a different case a few days ago. Yay justice system.

Even more funny, and approaching hilarious, is that nothing is going to change in Guantanamo Bay. I must say that I appreciate bureacracy for that. It allows idealism and conservatism under one roof.

Did you also know that the US government is currently pursuing plans to open a number of 'foreign' prisons in countries that are friendly with the US, but also have a lackadaisical respect for International Human Rights laws?

Good work, fellas!
