Quite amazing this E-paper is. As long as its not in excess of $200+ I might seriously consider getting this.
I was wondering when they'd come up with something like this. It was only a matter of time.
I saw these ideas before, probably in some fictions. Well this one is indeed useful, but i still prefer normal papers to work on my rough work. Also, these devices are too costly, don't you think? Anyway, I like it. heehee
Well it seems Sony has no plans to release the paper outside Japan, http://www.computerworld.com/hardwaretopics/hardware/story/0,10801,95986,00.html
Now that ive seen the $370 price tag, I think it'll be much better to get this after the second or third generation of E-paper. Just like HD tv's, I remember some that cost nearly 10,000 when they first came out. Sure they're still expensive but not nearly as much, and they've improved a whole lot since then too.
Hmm... interesting. I don't know if I'd ever buy it if it came out over here, though. I enjoy the feeling of flipping through a paper book and being able to smell the ink and such when it's brand new. :)
Well I for one am going to buy one when it's released on the market over here. I am an e book junkie. And it's pissing me off having to 'relax' and read them without portability now. I want to walk around with 500 books condensed to the size of my address book damnit. And I want it now.
