it might take some time to load, but bare with it... as it IS worth the wait!!!
it predicts Google's future... very interesting....indeed.
I like the Google Grid. Sounds nice...lol
Hey friend it is a great thing that you found this site. Because actually my dad is working on those projects right now. And he told me this information last year since he has been working on it. However I was not supposed to say anything about that sort of thing. Until I guess now maybe. However yes google is soon going to be the unltimate search website that everyone will be using. And it will be a new thing for us in the future. Nevertheless I find it to be quiet cool that google witll get this much power in the year of 2014. I think it is also cool that you found this link friend. And I also think it is cool that my dad is actualy working with some of the people on google with their computers and stuff. So that is one of the reasons why I don't see him.
Thanx, As_f.
Google is growing real fast, and the clip is really fasinating.
Some of my friends claimed that the clip is just a pure hoax, i dunno.
But seems like 2014 is really interesting. I'll get info for projects easily...heehee:D
Lol. Yup that is true. And I should know because my dad works with those people. Unfortunately he doesn't tell me that he works with these people off the bat. I just found out today that he tells me like every two years after a project is done. And for his secret computer military projects he told me that he will have to tell me ten years in advanced or maybe even more. Since I am not in the military yet. But one day I know I will be then we can talk more about those secret projects that always come out to be true when that year does come. Its like he is physic or something.:P
I know exactly what you mean! My dad, who has retired out of the Dutch military only recently, was a colonel and was also involved in research and development. He just used to come home (if he did at all) and sit down, and whatever we would ask him, he would always just laugh and give us a wink.
He's not longer in the military, though. He was honourably discharged. He said he had enough of the military and wanted to spend more time with his family :). Anyway, right now my dad is spending like lots of time on creating programs to enhance windows and linux and stuff. Sometimes I get to use them :D. Like a few years ago, he launched this revolutionary new feature to internet explorer that allowed, at random intervals, the site to launch a new screen in which they could display special information, which could than give extra revenue to the site. I thought that function absolutely rocked!
Anyway, when I grow up and finally come in terms with reality, I want to become just like him. *sigh*
Mr U
Cool HU! Your dad sounds totally awesome. I can understand why you love your dad so much. I also do the same thing as well. He does the same thing with me on his computer that he downloades these new programs to test them out. Also he helped out with the new froogle thing for google. He was also helping out with that project as well.
Neat that your dad stays home to spend time with his family. I do envy you at that. My dad is always away now days but before that way before. And that is cool that he works on linux. Linux rocks alot. Even though I rarely use it on my dad's comp. He is now a teacher as well as a computer person as well. Also he still does work in the military now and then.
Anyways if you don't mind me asking. What branch was your dad in?
Wow, the 'Google Grid' sounds awesome. The fact that its completely possible makes it even more exciting. This almost makes me want to change my primary major to programming. :D
Edit: Did anyone else notice how the shadow of EPIC was pi ?
Yeah, what's that PI? 3.142blahblahblah? Or another meaning?
