The Purpose of this Forum

ThereIsNoMatrix

In our ongoing efforts to provide the members of MatrixMania with the most enjoyable experience to be found on the web, we offer you the Babbling Stooges forum. The premise of this forum is plain and simple: All post-count raising games and threads, along with any sort of nonsensical thread shall be contained in this forum. Post counts and points are disabled in this forum. Within the coming days, most of the threads like the "Son of the Person Above You" game will be moved here. Within the week, the search function will be disabled for this forum, allowing those who do not wish to see such spam-subjective posts go without noticing them in the "New Posts" page.

If you have any questions, comments, rants, or outcries regarding this change, feel free to PM me or any other member of our staff.

Great idea. But why eliminate them from the search results?
ThereIsNoMatrix

That part is still tentative. If we eliminate them from the search results, then the users who do not wish to be bothered with the spam won't have to wade through the posts when they click "New Posts." We may keep them though - 'Tis still being discussed.
UT

I for one think it is a great idea to omit them from the new post line up. If one wants to see the new spam they simply need to come in here. Makes great sense to me.

It's great fun! And if you would like to keep up with a certain 'spam' topic, then you may subscribe to the thread. There are a few ways you can subscribe. Then to view it, you cn either go to your User CP and look at the new posts in your subscribed threads, OR you can use the Forum Jump thing at the bottom of most pages, and jump to either your subscribed threads, or even as UT said, in here.

Just a thought or two.

Okay now this has brought up a question to my mind. Now how do you subscribe to the thread? I have always tried to do this before but I can't. Because for some reason I don't know how to subscribe to a thread. So can anyone of you be so kind to explain this to me? Thank you.
Eon

At the top of the page there, there is a little thing called "Thread Tools" click on that and there is an option under it called "Subscribe to Thread". Clcik on it.
AgentSmith_fan

Cool friend. Also thanks for the help once again it was much appreciated.:D Also I think that is a great idea about doing that to those types of threads.
