Government Involvement in Education

Ok, I'm new to this.

What are your feelings on the role of national/state government in education both primary and secondary?

I think education sucks. :D
The state sucks too.
And the Nation does not even have an education system worth recognizing. :wtf:
I really dont have an opinion on education right now; just thought I should say. :rolleyes:

I am in college and I have yet to learn somethiing useful for the real world. but this is just my sophomore year. :)

I'm surprised that none of you have feelings about this topic. This is/was a really hot topic in the US recently.
