Where'd all the old smilies go?
We are now left with merely eleven!
Was it a fault with all the old matrix ones or what?

Just wondering where they've gone, is all...

Remove the smilies we have no there boring

and replace them with cooler smilies, that look better

Man, why is it that everytime I reply I'm compelled to add an emoticon to it? Normally I've remained unscathed, however mention it and BAM! The woman feels compelled... Nevermind. Back on topic...

The matrix smilies were good yes, though looking back how many liked the images more or what they represented? Or would you all much prefer to remain true to the green matrix color of the emo's and make them look a little more animated in character? HU has been hard at it again working his magic, and I'd like to see all that work be on display! What do you all think?

The problem with green smileys is the difficulty to create them to look like Neo, Trinity or Morpheus. My personal preference goes to not full-body emoticons, but rather face ones. Although this smiley is a bit larger than the rest: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/HomoUniversalis/paimei.gif, it's not as absurdly large as that stupid monkey used to be (who implemented that one anyway :P)

Have faith, however, we are working on the lack of smileys with dedication.

i've seen those somewhere before Freddy, dunno where.... the twins ones....they seem....familiar.... - never mind.
maybe they were from another matrix forum.
i agree that heads are better than full body smilies HU.

i dunno if i prefer the images or the meaning, UT. i tend to represent character names with smilies if i can elsewhere, mainly because i can't be bothered writing the names of the characters...
but i also tend to post them randomly on my posts...

mmmm ok that's an extremely valid point Triality. This is just a suggestion here, and I'm not sure as yet how we would bring it into being, though how about if we have the matrix-style emos in the matrix rooms and the others used everywhere else in the forum? We have some time to discuss it before anything is set in stone, so what do you guys think? Speak now everyone, let your voice be heard!
