New Weapons

I just wanna know what you guys think is the ftuture of weapons, everything from hand weapons to bombs. Will we improve on the bullet? Or will we move into something a little more futuristic? Tell me what ya think :D .

We'll definitely get to a laser eventually, the only question is when. What I wonder is will we ever get to a point where we can't develop a more powerful weapon. Will we ever deveop a weapon that can blow up the world, like in Hitchiker's guide to the galaxy? The universe? How far can we go?

It's about time for them to make laser sword (light sabers). screw the guns, guns are for pussy's. Swords rule !!! :D:D:D

it would be cool if they could finaly make Mech suits for soldiers that would rock :D

Mech suits will also definitely eventually come along. No doubt. Like I said, the question is when.
Not to be a downer, though, but light-sabers will probably never be invented, since efficiency will win out in the end. If they are it will be for entertaiment purposes only, which could eventually be used for small time crimes, but never in wars.

I prefer hand weapons over projectile weapons as well. But, if I have my katana on my back, and a pair of si at my belt, it wouldn't hurt to have a couple guns at my side, would it? ;)
