Media Player

Mr. Hacker Dude

Out of curiousity, what media player do you use? WinAmp, Windows Media Player, Quicktime, RealOne? Something else?
Eon

Mainly iTunes, it has everything on it so its easiest, but if I'm downloading something I'll use Quicktime.

Ultra-Player!

It's free, it's fast, and it needs close to 0 mhz, which makes it easy to run on my machine next to KaZaA Lite and Symantec/McAfee...

I use WMP, because it is so darn easy, well for me at least. I've grown accustomed to it.

I use WinAmp and Windows Media player, since both are more compatible with my Roxio CD-RW burner, compared to others. In a comparrison between the two, Windows Media, for me, is generally for just playing streaming songs over the internet and storing all my music. I use WinAmp cause since it is a DivX style format, it can play anything from anywhere basically.

For music and downloaded videos, Windows Media Player. It's really a good program. No need to go fooling around with others. For DVD's though, I like NVDVD, the software that came with my video card.

Since I generally only use my media player for music. I use Winamp. I find its the asiest to use when making new playlist and the such.

For DVD's I suppose WMP, but ive only used it once watching dvd''s on my comp just arent my thing. I cant really afford to buy a screen large enough for it to be enjoyable.

I use Quicktime, Windows Media Player and sometimes Real Player. Windows Media Player more often though. I only use quicktime for viewing trailers and stuff on the web.

Is it better to install all players?
or is there not a need to download more than 2 players at all?

I don't think it's nessacary to download more then at least 2 players. Although at the moment, I have about 6. It depends on the things you download, not all players are accustomed to the file.

Using Ultraplayer, you can view all files, except some of the DivX files, for which I use the DivX player. All you need is the codecs, and ultraplayer will play them.

On second thought, never mind that. Apparantly they don't pay for advertisements :p

WMP on Mac is so weak! VLC plays most of them but not all. If not, then QuickTime usually plays the rest.
