Another question: Should new members vote on Best Veteran, since we weren't all here to experience all the veteranity (I made that up) in all it's splendor and glory? Similarly, if we don't vote in every topic, do we get in trouble or something, like castrated or whatever? Oh well, I guess I'll just keep voting. Hmmm... Indeed, the glorious veteranity has passed by many of the newer members. Who's to say that should stop them from voting, though? After all, they've most likely seen enough of the vets who are still active to make some sort of coherent decision.

Please... Castration? We totally support cruel and unusual punishment at MatrixMania, but castration is just inhumane. We'd rather settle for amputating a limb of your choice, infecting it with syphilis, and then reattaching it. Much more humane, and I believe it fits the crime. And NMN forgot to mention it, but due to a host of new sponsors for the site, winners will also be entitled to a brand new 2004 Beetle.

Syphilis? FUCK...not again! Oh well, at least it's just a different limb, and nothing important.

Isn't it interesting how threads can take a twist of topic? Sometimes they can go completely off-topic, on the verge of spam, and sometimes, this is the result, an indepth discussion of things that can only be classified as the stuff of legends.

Anyway, it's a pleasure to engage in this competition, and I hope NMN takes a picture of his face when I win that 'hottest male award', hehe.

Yes it is indeed funny how threads sometimes get slight push a few degrees and then whhooopssss. It's off like a prawn in the sun. Well I'm gonna stay on topic here and just remind everyone that these awards are all for fun. I've seen in the past quite a few folk get upset or take them very seriously. This I hope won't be the case here. If anyone needs to chat about it you know you can pm me at anytime if there's anything you're at all unsure of.

Yes, indeedy. All of this is done in the name of fun. No reason to get all upset if no one nominated you for any of the awards, or if you only won one award while the next guy won four. Suck it up, don't sweat it, and maybe make a few changes, as we'll be doing this every month, so there will always be next time.

Anyjew, I believe in the beginning of October, and then it will remain bi-monthly after that. So December, February... and so on. We'll have to see about the adding. There are already 22.
