As others have soccer,or basket,I have Kung Fu.
Fu Jow Pai is an amazing martial art,it helps you learn better of your inner self. It's really tough though. And,trust me,I'm not talking only about hurt muscles.
Anyone else that's interested on this sport or has anything to ask me,please write here.
Pau tsu tai! (this is kind of the logo of Fu Jow Pai,it means ''with the power of the tiger and with the brain of a wise'')
I do. Please tell me more about it.:) I am waiting to find the time to devote to something, other than kick boxing (as I love it but want to learn other martial arts) so please give me as much information as possible.:)
Well,what do you wanna know?:D
My personal opinion is that if you were to choose between Fu Jow Pai and Kick Boxing, you should choose the first,I believe it's far better then Kick Boxing.
All the sayings that you have heard about Kung Fu that first goes the mind, then the strength are totally true.
Yes,there are techniques that will be acted better if you're strong, and yes, some techniques are risky to be acted if the fighter isn't stronger then his opponent(my personal opinion).
But most of the techniques doesn't require that at all.In fact, there are some techniques that take the weight of the opponent, and use it against him. This means that as bigger he is,the easier he will fall!!!
Fu Jow Pai requires devotion, responsobility, smartness, and length.
I had many, many, many tines been really ugly hurt either by learning techniques,or doing tough exercise, and aucorse,by matches.
My teacher believes I'm really good at it,and this helps me when the tough gets tougher.
So I advise you to follow Kung Fu because you're gonna discover that you can do much more then you could possibly ever think, but be alerted:At some points, things will get really tough,at least if you follow the right training.
