Would you be the Savior or would you Ruler, if you were The ONE??

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I would enjoy
flying around and being "God" of all the people in the Matrix.

Sure freeing them is "good", but honestly, where would they
go if they were suddenly unplugged? Surely Zion doesn't have
enough room to fill 6 billion people, and the outside world
was torched by nukes.

I'm sure it wouldn't be long before people would curse the
SOB who freed them from the lives they were so attached
to.

What's your opinion on the subject?

My take on the matter is that Neo could enjoy being god for as long as he wants to, but the longer he does, the more he risks the AI finding the ship his real life body is in. I am betting he fears his friends' deaths more than his own, maybe not now that he has the power to save the world.

And as for Zion taking 6billion bodies, it wouldn't happen. Remember when Neo was flushed? His muscles were atrophied and he would have easily drowned had they not scooped him up. Now, imagine a whole farm dumping. Or let's say that they are woken up in the pod but not unscrewed? You would have 6 billion people stuck in pod fluid tethered by their head starving to death.

Lots of confusion.

Yes, but realistically how much time could you really have to pick and choose the people you save?

Neo has infinite power over the virtual world, and the Matrix/AI has nearly total power over the real world. Neo looks good, but not nearly as good when you look at the big picture.

If Neo plays his cards right, uses his human creativity against the machine's huge weight, sacrifices a few friends, plays unpredictably - only then will he have a chance to save humanity.
