Mission to 01

This is how it goes crew: I write the story from my point of view as a captian until a certain point. Another crew member than writes the story from their point of veiw at the same time, it shouldnt include anything i've said but somewhere in the story you should mention an incident from my story to show that the stories are moving at a parallel time, Quentin Terentino Style:D, now I will edit this post within the next 12 hours to add my story, from then on another crew member will post his story. Try not to wirte too much guys, and away we go......

Chapter 1: Departure of the Vigilant.

We boarded the ship, with all our suplies, and as I stood on the Vigilnats' entrance I looked back at the Dock and wonderd If I was ever to return here again.I got inside and the doors shut behind me.
“Alright guys, listen up, the council is not aware of our mission. We may have peace with the machines but there is no agreement about unexpected visitors. So no one is to know about this trip if we are ever to make it back. No everyone get to your positions!!”
I sat in my captains chair and watched from the window as all the other ships were taken off, and hoped that my little plan was not revealed to anyone, I looked in the ship cameras and there it is was in the corner of the storage room covered in a grey piece of cloths, so that to a strangers eyes it would appear as boxes stored over each other, rather than what it really was.
“Hortaio, everything operational?”
“Yes sir, we are ready to departure from the dock”
“Good the sooner we leave the better. Johnson, Mazman, are the bullets in place?”
“Yes sir”Replying Simultaneously
“Sir, Zion Command centre has granted us exit through gate no. 6, we are ready to leave”
I then ignited the engine and made our way through the gate and into the dark cold tunnels of the real.... (To be continued)..

...........aboard the Vigilant I stared deep into the darkness of the clouds of the real as Mazman asked me, "what are you going to do when we get there?" "to where?" i asked. "To 01." I said "follow the captains orders and decimate any squiddie that gets near this ship or trys to make a run for Zion, but I have a little ace up my sleeve for when we get there." "like what?" Mazman asked me. "You'll see, you'll see." I said. Just then the captain called for me, I reported in, "Yes sir, what is it that you need sir!" He asked if the guns had been fully loaded and cleaned for combat. I answered yes and he then called Horatio, and Mazman over and we went over the battle plan one last time. After that it was one long trip into the abyss of the real, not knowing what is ahead of us, I once again found myself staring into the darkness of the clouds of the real, preping the guns for combat along with Mazman. We began talking about what we would do after we won the war....................

..."are you sure this is a good idea?" I said to Johnson.
"Whats the problem?" He said.
"Well...."
Captain strode confidently into the room; "Everything okay on the squiddie front?" He said with a wry smile.
"Yeah, all fine so far."
"Yup, all clear"
Just then, the small red light burst frantically into life,
"Oh shit." I said.
"What's it picking up?" Said TA.
"Just a second, sir." Said Johnson.
Flickering profusely, the hologram eventually emerged in the form of...
"The Logos?" Said Captain, "what's the range?"
"9, 10 miles" I said, fingers going a-mile-a-minute over the keyboard trying to find out more. I noticed Johnson seemed a bit more agitated than usual.
"it's coming towards us at a huge speed. Possibly 200 miles per hour." Said Johnson, now staring into his screen as if hypnotised.
Suddenly, Horatio called out, hey everyone, get over here NOW!"
We all gathered around the operators table. Horatio seemed to be talking to someone on the headset.
"...yes, OK, here he is."
He handed the headset to captain TA.
"Who is it?"
"The Merovingian" said Horatio.

"What do you want?" Questioned the captain. Everyone strained to listen as TA talked to The Merovingian. I studed the screens, to see if anything was happening. Nothing. Suddenly, the captain spoke. "I'm jacking in, he wants to meet me, Horatio, get ready." I was thrilled at guiding a trip into the maatrix to meet the Merovingian, and got the equipment ready quickly. "All done boss," I said, as he sat in the chair....

Chapter 2:
Captian and operator go to the Matrix
We seated ourselves on the jack-in chairs, I myslef kept wondering about what reason the Mero. needed me for. ' Hortaio, are you ready?"
"yes sir, I am"
" Your worried arent you? we all were on our first time to go back in the Matrix
"Dont worry sir I've wanted this for a really long time now, I wont mess up I promise"
Mazman and A.J. stood behind our chairs, and as soon as the computer issued a singal that there was a safe hardline for us to go through, they both plugged us in.
We got in the elevator making our way to floor 101.
"Why so high sir??"
"They're french!! I geuss scenery matters for them alot."
We got out and walked into a very elegant restaraunt, and directly ahead of us was the Merv. and what seemed to be his gang seated around him.
"Dont ask, Horatio!!"
"Well, well,well if it isint tHe aRcHeItEcT, himself the true creator and ofcourse Hortaio one of the survivng APU fighter of the siege, please sit down I've heard alot about you two. This is my wife Presephone"
To Haratio " Scenery does matter to them alot!!"
"Now that we are here, what do you want to know from us?"
"Please, There is nothing you know that I dont, the real reason I brought you here was because, there is someone who was aboard your old ship who wants to meat its new captain..."
A person appeared from behind us," Hello aRcH."
"Smith?!"........(to be continued)

^ Read the above edited chapter guys and I'll write the third instalement tonight, "Smtih confrontation"......and I got a suprise I cant wait to write....

Back on the Vigilant...

"Well, I guess it's just you and me AJ." I said getting back into the bridge chair.
"Yeah." Said Johnson, slowly getting into his. "Hey, what about the Logos?"
"Well, it's slowed down a bit to 100 mph, other than that, no change."
"What the hell is going on?"
"Well, I know it's a long shot, but where was the Logos last time we knew?
AJ groaned. He already knew the answer, I could tell. It was spread around Zion like wildfire when the war ended. Neo and Trinity were the last people to take it and in doing so, successfully ended the war but...
"Go on, where did it go?"
AJ didn't answer. I answered for him.
"That's right, the machine city. and where are we going?"
Instead of saying it, he answered,
"Damn right it's a long shot!"
"The only question is, who or what is piloting it?" I asked.
"Could it be Neo or Trinity?"
Somehow I knew that wasn't right. Don't ask me how I just knew.
"Well, whatever the hell it is its only 15 miles away."
"We've gotta ask captain's advice on what to do next."
I went over to the operators chair and reached for the phone. After dialing the number, I became concerned that there was no answer after a few rings....

OVER TO YOU GUYS!

Chapter 3, Smith Confrontation

"Your supposed to be dead!!"
"No mr aRcHeItEcT, you dont seem to understand. I CANNOT be killed!! I was deleted from the matrix, but my good friend here the Merovingian smuggled me back in."
"What are you?"
"Well since im no longer an agent and no longer a 'one', now im just a rogue program doing as I please, and the system cannot trace me now because I have no code print."
"Merovingian, what is the purpose of this meeting, I must leave I have a mission to do."
"No time? Ofcourse, who has time? who has time?......"
"Save it, I need to leave now tell me the reason"
"Smith here has an idea of planning a revenge for the Deus ex machine, afterall it did destroy smith and now he wants to destroy it..."
"And what do I have to do with it??"
(Horatio) "Sir I think he wants to use us for you know what..."
"Listen closely aRcHeItEcT, all that is required from you now is to transport Smith to 01, Where you are going and he will...."
"I know what you want, but this mission is just for exploration, we dont want to restard the war!!"
(Merv.)" If you do not do this task, it will be hard for me to secure a safe exit for you...."
After moments of thinking this over I thought I couldnt risk Zion another war. I was about to say no, when my phone rang.
"Sir, we've been trying to get a hold of you for a while, at first we thought you were in trouble but in fact we are in trouble, we got sentinels approaching in 16 minutes, you have to get out!!"
"Right away, Get me a clear exit in Winsloe overpass and prepare to fight them!!"
"Alright Merovingian and Smith, I'll do it, I just need a quick exit to to Winslow overpass without going through the highway, can you do it??"
"Ofcourse, Twins!!"
He pointed towards them and they took out a big key chain out and lead me to the Door where we jacked out quickly...........

"About time Captain!" I said.
"like we said there are sentinels approaching and the estimated time is now 10 min.!"
"So what happened Captain?" asked Mazman
"Well, how should I put it, the Merv asked us to take Smith with us to 01 so he can exact a revenge on the Deus Ex Machine for destroying him a first time."
"WHAT!?" Mazman said.
"Smith! What the hell is he doing alive!?" I said.
The captain said he wasn't completely destroyed the Merv rescued him and now he is a rogue program with no code.
" I wouldn't trust the Merv let alone Smith if I were you." Mazman said.
"we'll have to trust him if we wanna beat the machines" Horatio said.
" we need all the help we can get even if it means relying on the enemy, while the Deus Ex Machine is busy we can take down everyone else; you see? We can use him just like he is using us right now."
"Okay, but if he makes one suspicious move, i'll throw his ass out of this ship so the squiddies can deal with him" I said angered.
"So how is he gonna come aboard? And how are we gonna keep an eye on him so he doesn't do anything stupid?" Horatio asked.
The captain said we will have to take shifts watching him in the back of the ship........................................(To Be Continued)

"Captain... how is Smith gonna actually get out here?"
Suddenly I remembered the horrific Bane incident and gulped.
"Well, don't worry, we won't have a repeat of any Bane stuff. He said, obviously remembering it too.
"Well?" said AJ. "What now? We got flocks of calamari and what appears to be The Logos closing in fast, 01 is still miles off and now we are letting Merv and Smith manipulate us like puppets. Shit, we could say we've been in better situations."
"Hey, clam down AJ" Said Horatio, anyway, the squiddies won't harm us as long as we don't provoke them in any way. We arn't at war any more, remember?"
The was a silence. We knew he was right, but somehow we all knew machines couldn't be trusted. Finally, I broke the mood with;
"So great, thats one problem out of the way, but what about Smith and the Logos?"
"Captain has a plan." Said Horatio, smugly.
"Yeah?" I said, sort of sarcastically.
"OK, get this..." We all leaned closer to ARcH...
"Remember what Morpheus said after the war?"
We looked at each other.
"Remember happined to Neo?"
"The train station" Me and AJ said together.
"Thats right, smuggling programs from one world to the other. And the owner of the Trainman is, of course, The Merovingian."
"Brilliant, boss!" I said.
"That just leaves the Logos." said AJ.

Chapter 4, Smith and the logos
Part 1:
I stood by the matrix feed screen waiting for the signal, and after several moments it appeared. The loading process of Smith had began. I walked toward the plug-in seats to check up on the work of the gunners, they were finished and were just polishing it up.
"Alright guys put it in on the seat, and when I tell you to plug it in, you plug it in!!"
"Yes, sir!"
We waited a few minutes, and as I look at the screed the loading process was 98% finished, he was about to get plugged out of the matrix for good.
"NOW!!"I shouted.
Mazman quickly grabbed the plug and stuck it to the back of the machines head..........I stared at it, waiting for a response that it had worked, and at the screen of the machine it read 'Initialzing'........
"Unplug it A.J. , I think it worked, give him a chance to move around."
Smith then got up from the chair and he started looking at himself to see his new body. The machine Smith was possesing was 6 feet tall, the same basic structure as that of a human beings, except that as requested by him it had a head which was a minutre of the Deus-ex-machine, he said that it would look like a porcupine with a large screen in the middle.He studied the body for a while and we just waited.
"How do you like it" I said.
"Well its much better than that disgusting flesh I had to endure being in Bane's body" He laughed.
"Sir is he dangerous?" Whispered Horatio to me.
"No, we desinged his body with with a shut down switch, incase he tries anything suspicuos" Answered Mazman.
"Im telling you this isnt a good idead, I dont like this, this wasnt part of the mission"
The ship alrams sirend!!
"Sir its the logos, we need do something now before our ships collide!!"
I quickly ran to the exterior camera screen, and what I saw it in was strange......
"Hey guys loot at this, Look whats piloting the Logos"
"Sentinels!?!?"...

Well I didnt want to leave not having finished the story:
so heres pretty much what happens:

1)Smith gets aboard the logos and destroys the sentinels, but the ship is in bad shape and he has to get back on the Vigilante, but he needs repair.
2)We get into 01 without any attack against us.
3)We are forced to crash land due to the enormouse magnetic feild around the city.
4) I reveil what I was hiding in the ship, and APU.
5) Mazman uses it to fight the machines attacking the ship, while the rest of the crew repairs the ship.
6)I go looking around the ship for smith but he is gone.
7) I look from outside and I see him making his way to the core system of the city.
8) After we repair the ship, we fly over to the core system to try and retreive smith from his battle with the Deus-ex machine but he refuses and says that we must go one without him and that he must finish his battle once and for all.
9)We leave 01 but while looking from the back window we see an enormous green electro-explosion coming from where the two machines where battling.
10) The explosion caused real heavy winds at about a 10 mile radius and caused the black clouds to diminish and the sun to reshine.

Well crew it was a successful mission, this was just the summary of it......

O nice one! it probably wouldnt have turned out anything like that if we were all contributing! just as well we wernt really!
