sparky667 I was just thinking how good an actor Keanu Reeves must be, from going from something like Bill and Ted to The Matrix.Anyway, the first Matrix was better than Reloaded and Revolutions put together. Opnions anyone? Raj Against The Machine hey sparky u finally joined. :PI i reckon keanu is a great actor. smith1 i think that he is a great actor, but i disagree about the first one being better than reloaded and revolutions put together. Revolutions is the best but reloaded was bad there wasnt much in the story plot and what is with the sex.!!!!!!! sparky667 Yeah you're right, Reloaded was entirely pointless, and don't you think it just got boring with Neo being all superhuman, not even Smith can touch him? Revolutions was better, though, he had more of a challenge against Super Smith. The_Anomaly I hate to say this, but of the three movies Reloaded was my least favorite. Although the Matrix trilogy is still my favorite movie series of all time, there was something about Reloaded. And this didn't happen right away but over time. I love the addition of the new characters such as Niobe, Ghost, and the Twins, but the whole second half of the movie confused me the first time that i saw it. Everything from the Oracle's speech to the ending...especially the Architect. It took several of my co-workers to explain it to me and I'm the one that's a Matrix fanatic. Even now I don't really get what the Oracle meant about the various programs. Is she saying that every single program in the Matrix falls into one of the following categories: Vampires, werewolves, angels, aliens, ghosts? It was said that a few of the Merovingian's people were werewolves because Persephone killed them with a silver bullet. Following this logic, does that make the Keymaker an alien? It sounds funny but, he was not killed by a wooden stake or silver bullet, he was definitely not a ghost, and I don't think that he's an angel although we don't really know this because we never see him in coded form to see whether it's golden or not. So the only thing left is for him to be an alien. This post is already long and boring, so let me cut it brief... sparky667 Originally posted by The_Anomaly I hate to say this, but of the three movies Reloaded was my least favorite. I agree with everything, it's like they made a point of talking a lot of bollocks for half a movie, just to make up time. Freddy Krueger the best part of reloaded whas the Burly Brawl. the rest whas also good, but not very interesting smith1 basically yes i think that the oracle menat that the keymaker was an alien. the first half of the burly brawl was good but when Neo started picking smiths up and throwing them and using the pole then it got old. sparky667 If you ask me the whole burly brawl sucked. In the first one, Smith was the most powerful entity in the Matrix, then, even when he is unplugged, Neo can beat the hell out of hundreds of them? It got real boring, real fast. tHe aRcHeItEcT ...Keanu is a great actor. The burly Brawl is great and may go beyond some idiots's comprehension. Whats pissing off more is how big of an actor Orlando Bloom became besause he stared in realy big roles such as lord of the rings, Pirates of the carribean and Troy.......hes not good enough to deserve these roles...... Raj Against The Machine its wierd. after seeing the matrix trillogy i keep expecting keanu to start flying and start doing kung fu in other films like hardball. have any of you lot seen johny pnuemonic i really want to see that. Omega Ascendant Keanu Is cool!!! he is good in kungfu moves...yeah...hell cool! sparky667 Keanu is a hell of a good actor, has anyone here seen any of the Bill&Ted movies? Manic Velocity Heh, Keanu is a terrible actor. Let me be the first Matrix loyal to say this. He either under-acts, or tries too hard to over-act. The only movie I found him most believable in was M1. His character was supposed to be an inept and confused under-acheiver. Mr. Anderson had no idea what was going on most of the time, and Keanu portrayed this perfectly with his famous dead-pan expression. The majority of acting is non-verbal. Keanu doesn't do much with facial expressions or body movement. And yet, despite all of this, I enjoy every movie he's been in. Even Johnny Mnemonic and Point Break. The only consistent thing I've noticed with exiles is that each has his or her own special power. But you never know, the Keymaker might just be an alien. Lol, that's a funny thought. Freddy Krueger i've seen bill and ted's bogus adventure (it's pretty funny) other keanu movie (beside matrix trilogy) is speed mabey i've seen more, but i can't remember keanu is a good actor, and the 3 matrix movie's where awsome. reloaded had some good parts and bad parts bad: when they enter zion (first time) and that irritating little shit, karl popper come's to great neo (you know the kid) the rave and sex scene most of the scene's with mero talking. the architect (man i almost fell asleep when that guy started talking good: burly brawl free way chase, fight between seraph and neo, persephone ( :D ) fight between trinity and agent. sparky667 I think the burly brawl was shit man, the bet Matrix fight was in M1 when he fights Smith in the underground, reloaded was dumb cos he was ridiculously strong, and by Revolutions it had turned into Dragonball z, with the dumb Wang Chungs flying about and shit. AlmightyOne The whole trillogy was a work of art by the W Brothers. If it wasn't for them and their story Keanu might not be the well known actor he is today. You must admit before the Matrix some of you didn't really care for Keanu, and then you did when you saw the matrix. I am the same way with Keanu and Hugo becuase hell I didn't even know Hollywood had an actor by the name hugo. All of a sudden I saw him in the Matrix, and then in LOTR. I think the Matrix gave a great boost for the actors in it, and like we have already seen they are acting in many other great films as well as trillogys. Freddy Krueger i remember a other great movie where keanu playes in Bram Stokers, DRACULA he plays a good role in that movie. and that english acent is almost real Raj Against The Machine that is a brilliant film. keanus accent is a little funny though! the Dracula in it is freaky though. toymachine970 personally i think they could have done a bit better than keanu, hes always gonna be the point break surfing bill and teds stoner guy to me.....have you guys heard that he is gay??? some people say he is, but i choose not to listen, i mean fuck hes neo for gods sake armedace Hi Fellas!!! What I think is that these 3 movies seem like a case study. First one[M1] was just a thought [as we all have about MATRIX]. Second part[M2] was a surge to exploit the very thought. Second was to make an impression. Third part[M3] was just the end [as everything that is created has an end]. Third was just a sheer style of making a block buster. The ending somewhat shocked me in some way, but anyway parts were made very intelligently. I Cant think of any other movie whose sequel so wonderfully compiled [just look at terminator and killbill - "Just My Opinion"]. Adding another star to this movie sequel is the performance of Mr.Reeves [i cant think any other actor could had completed this job so amazingly]. NeoLivesOn I agree... I liked Reloaded the best. I know some if not most of you did not but I think it was the best. The Matrix was, I admit, a little boring. I mean it showed you the beginning but that's about it. Reloaded showed you the *life*. It had the most excitement and more of a plot. Revolutions was ok. The ending...well it was not as good as I had expected. I think I've already posted this elsewhere.... **grr... I don't believe he's gay. I mean I need proof before I believe it.** When I watch my Bill and Ted's excellent adventure DVD, it's like I'm watching a completely different, yet equally sexy, actor. When I think of Neo, I think of someone cool, calm, and keeping it together. I think Keanu is amazing for being able to pull that off. Not many actors can play such different rolls. ZeroOne Keanu is a great actor. I think he gets a lot of unfair criticism for his style of acting for no reason. The Matrix Trilogy is the best movie trilogy ever. Matrices in order of greatness: 1. The Matrix 2. Revolutions 3. Reloaded-- I actually liked reloaded a lot, but the first and revs were incredible! Yuna Hmm I like Revolutions more you find out more!! joe_delrey I agree.the first was better. View Full Version : Keanu |
