What's your worst attribute?

Bah. I don't know how successful this thread will be, but I thought it would be interesting since lately I've just realised what it is that is causing the great majority of problems in my life: laziness.

I thought it would be interesting if people could really ask themselves this important question and come up with a real answer. Also people could discuss whether it's a real problem or not. I dunno... Be honest though. And bring only one if possible. Obviously everyone has many, but there must be one thing that really gets you...

I have the same problem, freeyourmind , laziness.

you wouldnt belive it but I almost failed 10th and 11th grade, because of not feeling like doing anything that and procrastination. Even though I turned around this year I'm still surprised I was accepted to a school like Berkeley, with the kind of grades I had from those two years.

Its weird though becuase I was only lazy when it came to school, I have a bunch of other "bad" attributed as well. Like for one I used to have some extreme naivete about everything. That was part of the school problem I didnt do anything and I didnt care, at that time it was pretty much like "ohh I failed another test"..."whatever"

Procrastination, Procrastination is game, keep the rhythm, keep the rhythm as the same.

Procrastination and laziness.

Seems laziness and procastination are very popular. They're my worst attributes too. Like, I'm supposed to be studying for my finals now, instead of hanging out here. And over-confidence, thinking I can pass, no sweat.

Procrastination and laziness. Yep, that's me. I still need to do my homewrok for tonight. And I need to work on a project. And remember to get my grade slip for track which (sadly) was due today. I could go on and on, but I think I'd put everyoen to sleep.

Laziness is simply the lack of motivation, which is rather the fault of the educational system than a real attribute.

Hmm, I think you guys may have possibly not gotten what I was talking about... yeah school sucks and we're all slackers, but come on, can that really be considered a "bad" attribute? I'm talking about more serious things... I feel that my laziness isn't that apparent in school, we're I'm not much worse and better than most in it, but rather in other aspects of life. I've been running away from problems and then later getting pissed off at myself and all the time I was thinking I was running away because I was scared and unprepared, but lately it hit me. It's not that at all. I'm just damn lazy... It's seriously the biggest problem in my life...

And HU, come on, you can do better than that... :p

I'm not going to get into where it's bothering me and I don't think that you guys should either but I was really talking about problematic attributes in real life, not in school... anyhow, carry on... :p

Again, the only flaw I posses (it's a flaw because it drives people away from me) is that I wield knowledge as a sword.

I am aware of the fact that I am a smartass, yet I do not feel like changing it, I feel it is part of what I am. Although I encourage perfection, having nothing to strive for is pointless as well. Therefor I will forever wonder this planet with my faithful knowledge by my side, ready to strike down all those who are not 'smartasses'... Hice, beware!

Heheh, this isn't the place to get defensive... I wasn't blaming you of anything, but I think that for this thread to succeed people need to be real honest, and believe me I know how hard it is but I think it's more important than a lot think. Even if you don't wanna post it here it's something you should think about.
There must be something about yourself that drives you wild and that you wish you didn't have... and by bad I mean bad in your eyes, not in other people's... If there's nothing at all like that for you then I congratulate you, but since I think there aren't many humans that are like that I'd say search a little deeper and truer ;)
Either that or I just hate myself too much...

But to spur you guys on and to see if this thing really can pick itself up I'm gonna give you another one of mine: self-consciousness. Too damn self conscious. I feel that most of the time I experience me in third person rather than first...

'Self-conciousness' is a rabbit eating a carrot while wondering what a rabbit eating a carrot looks like...basically, it looks like a rabbit eating a carrot...so don't think too much.

I'd say one of my REAL worst attributes is my inability to save money and budget my monthly wage accordingly. No matter how hard I try - which admitedly isn't very hard - I always end up eating noodles for the last few days before my next paycheck...

At the moment I'm saving for a month long surf-trip in Indonesia(to start in June), but just this last month I've purchased a PS2, a load of copied games, 'The Office, series 2' DVD(which, by the by is THE funniest TV show in many a moon) and some music...I think I have gradually improved though...when I was at uni I spent my entire student loan(2000GBP) in ONE MONTH! I have saved the bank statements to prove it...I didn't even buy anything substantial...a few CDs, a wet-suit and shit load of alcohol. I'm an idiot.

my worst attribute? i have a very addictive personality. im already a cigarette smoker and i used to be addicted to some very bad things, luckily im not the same person anymore, this is all thanks to afew members and for what they have helped me with i owe them everything.

Kay, not wanting to brag, but my worst quality is i know too much, in a bad know it all way, i hate it.

Dont be ashamed of having knowledge, because you can never have "too much" knowledge, unless in the bad way you mean the "smart ass" kinda way. lol

In that case sarcastic is a better label than smart ass. :D

My worst attribute is being too little confidence. If someone knocks me for doing something, I won't do it again. This is something to do with my early life, when I was bullied terribly

I hear ya!! That's something I have a major problem with as well... heck, I have too much crap to list...

I'm also a major slacker, and it's kicking me in the bootie now (er, will be when my grade card comes out, anyway).
