What in the (Club) Hel?

Not to open a can of worms BUT did anyone else notice that there
were nothing but Caucasians in (Club) Hel while Zion had a greater mix of races represented??

Any thoughts?

That's cause all the white people didn't have the groove enough to get out of the matrix. Plus they all work for the Frenchman.

I noticed but I don't know of many other races that are into the leather bondage culture.

I hadn't noticed that. Interesting. I guess the easiest interpretation is that caucasions are the most "fallen" race. Fair enough, I can see that. Or maybe they were all (more specifically) French.

I think Club Hell is one of the more interesting and least talked about portions of the movies.

I don't know the percentages, but I got one of those chain emails with interesting percentages of life about two years ago. It said that only 10% of the whole world is white, and the rest are darker skinned individuals. This percentage may not be completely accurate, but it's true that there are significantly more darker skinned than lighter skinned people in the whole population of the world.

I think that all the people inside the club were French,that's why all of them were white(it's hard to find a black guy from France).
Also,I think that club Hell stands for Hell itself,and Zion stands for Paradise.
Club Hell is in the Matrix:PI: while Zion is in the Real World,which by my opinion proves again one of the many meanings of the Matrix Trilogy:
Real World:Good
Matrix:PI: :Evil
As for the french people,I don't think that the Wachowski bros. have anything against french:D ,I think that they're nationality was choosen only for the comedian element(seen' an evil french like Merovingian is always funny!:).

Zion was most definetly not paradise. If anything, the matrix represented paradise (Eden) and the real world was the real world. There are a lot of Eden similarities in the movie. Morpheus is the serpent, the red pill is the apple from the tree of knowledge. Neo (adam) takes the red pill (eats the apple) and is banished from the Matrix (Eden) into the real world full of pain and knowledge and a life in which one must work to survive.

Maybe they are created by the frenchman and maybe, I mean MAYBE the frenchman is racist...lol...just wondering.

And, not to spark anything more hostile off here or anything... but the Matrix isn't exactly over... I mean, the films are, but MxO is still to come out in Jan 2005...

well its been a long time since i last posted, and i dont remeber exactly, but in the movies is he called the frenchman? or is that something that people just started naming him.
my point is that i only recall that the merovingian says "he has sampled every language but french is his favorite", so that doesnt exactly mean hes french, just that he likes the french language, but i dunno maybe the actor is french?


this is any interesting thread though, on sorta a different topic i alwaz loved how the brothers made zion seem. its like its an advanced society, very simple, bearly no technology, but besides the whole machine problem thier society seems like a utopia, working for the common good and practically no social classes(besides soldiers)- zion reminds me of what i wish this world could achieve, peace and no difference between races, it also seems as though they have one central religion(maybe a combination of all the ones in the past?)
