Dream Interpretations

Hey everyone! I've been having some really weird dreams lately, and since you all are so smart (such as the old members who helped interpret meanings behind the matrix when we were all still figuring things out)

I thought of an idea of ppl just posting dreams and interpreting them cuz my dreams dont seem to make that much sense, since its all suppose to be symbolic...

In one of my dreams I was alone in the middle of no where, an abondoned gasoline station actually. And my little brothers walk to the pump out of no where (they must have fallen out of the sky, cuz i didnt see anyone coming) and then when my little brother is running around this mentally handicap guy runs and chases him suddenly and then this lavander van comes out of no where and takes the mentally handicap guy and my little brother away so me and my brother (the other one) are left at the gasoline station.

I have no idea what that is suppose to mean, relating to my train of thought, since dreams are suppose to be a sum of all the excess thoughts not really said outloud during the time your awake so you think of subconsciously while you dream, unless you have a personality disorder, or protein deficiancy.

that sounds like a really weird dream more disturbing really

do you know any mentally handicapped people? or have you ever been to a gas station that looks like the one in your dream?

Im not sure what to say about it other than that, maybe it means nothing at all that particular dream anyway


as Ive gotten older I noticed I dont have as many dreams as I used to, but when I do they seem to get stranger and more bizzare than the one before but there is one in particular that kinda scared the hell outta me I even wrote it down Ive written down a bunch of weird and just "fun" dreams I have had in this book. so anyway,

I start out in this place/city/zone, for some reason I can jump at extreme heights as well as seemingly unlimited stamina. I seem to be in this "place" for hours with not yet seeing one other person except this I assume to be a jogger(from the distance I saw him or her I couldnt tell) but I follow this person into this very large tunnel, I reach the end of the tunnel to my left is a group of people wearing black hoods and capes, but they arent making a sound. I look to my left and I see a a few piles of body parts, they look like they were just disembered because they were still bleeding. But also on the right there is a staircase of which of course I follow. I get upstairs and I hear this hollow like chanting I end up dont trying to see where this chanting is coming from because I see this girl run down the stairs even though I saw no one run past me. So I follow her back down the stairs and into the tunnel again, the people with black hoods still say nothing. I glance down the tunnel and I see some kids/adults punching chickens. other than that faint sound of those people punching the chickens, there is absolute silence. This girl that I followed asks me a bunch of questions (I dont remember them) then, I look down the tunnel at the opening where I see a lot of shaodows. Since I hadnt seen anyone in the city/zone before when I was running around, I decide to go see what the shadows are coming from but unfortunately I wake up just as I walk back out of the tunnel

This was one weird dream I spent half the day trying to figure out what any of it meant, partly because that girl was omeone I had seen before in school. I actually woke up mad that I didnt find out what those shadows were :mad:

Dreams pass on in time, it doesnt matter really what your dreams mean as long as you learn to see the bigger picture.

And just remeber dreams arent only of the past but they can also show the future, what was once a memory forgotten maybe come and expreiences always remeberd.......

Sullen- perhaps your dream is you being afraid of your innocence being taken away. Your little brother(little and innocent) and a mentally challenged person(also innocent, because they are so child-like) are kidnapped by an unkown party and taken away.

I had another one of these reacuring dreams last night/morning.
Its sort of recuring but that same things dont always happen, but I keep going to the same places. Its always these two places, both of them I have lived there before but the entire area of the dream is just not quite as it "really" was. Like there might be an extra row of houses on one street or in one dream this particular hill is much steeper and larger than in real life

But the strange thing is the things im doing in these places make absolutely no sense, its like im remembering doing something in that place but a bunch of random abstractions are there for no reason. and They are just "there" they arent moving (most of the time) they arent making any noise just there.

Another weird thing ive noticed in all my dreams is that almost all tghe time Im the only one there I may see another person every now and then depending on what ever I happen to be doing. But for the most part Im the only person there. I wonder If that means anything.

Wow, thanks for the suggestion. Sorry it took me so long to respond back...i've had so much hw and not as much time online as i would like.

Dreams DO matter, b/c they are the symbolic association of your train of thought or physce (ahh cant sp!) such as a dream wherein there is violence is a sign of pent up aggression. I tried looking up my dream meanings in a dream dictionary (http://www.dreammoods.com) but i couldnt find anything that really connected with my dream.

some dreams have meaning...e.g. stress, angry, scared...etc..
but some r not true.

Some dreams have meaning, and some dreams have a purpose, but you musnt hasten to a conclusion over what to do with what you've seen, patience is a must......

Of course some dreams are not true, but overall they hold meaning cuz if someone dreams they are flying it doesnt mean that they actually went flying but it in a diff. time. My dreams lately seem very surreal that i cant make connections between two differnt themes... oh well, i'll understand in time, that is if the dreams come back to me, i have a tendecy to forget cuz ppl who usually move a lot after they awaken dont remember as much of a dream if they didnt move that much.

Dreams are random thoughts that are spawned in your unconscious state. They can be things you were thinking about in that day or be a thought that has been wandering through your mind for years.

You dream about things you want and can't have, things that scare you that you want to overcome, obsticles that are in your way that either challenge you or turn you away, etc. Dreams cannot always be exsplained and not always desired to be explained. The dreams that don't make sense probably make perfect sense to the master behind your subconscious, sometimes there to throw you through a loop or to view your reactions to these phenomina.

I believe that people subconsciously set themselves up, to see if they can over come their problems in a suspended reality. After there dream idea is how they want it they isert it into there field of thoughts, in the uncoscious state they probably forget that they are the archeitect of their own dreams.

Now that I think about it my theory is very close to the story of "Vannila Sky", if you are having trouble understanding your dreams and you are interested in these kind of philosoohy you should chaeck this movie out.

Hey, recently I had an uncomfurtable dream. I imagined the perfect girl, she was like an angel, flawless. She was numb, or had the face of an emotionaly numb person. She stood in a dojo by herself. I took advantage of her, I treated her like a whore. And the weirdest thing is that she didn't react; she sat there while I yelled and didn't walk away or even raise a finger against me.

At the end of the dream, when I woke up, I felt terrible. In the split second of my awaking moment I almost slapped myself. Since that dream I felt slightly empty, I actually felt like a part of me was missing. I had the reaccuring feeling that the dream had altered my life, or something along those lines.

Does anybody know what my dream means?

Dude, thats a pretty fucked up dream.

Me and my best friend once had the same dream in the same night:

For some reason, we were both at my house, we were looking out from the top floor into the street and there was lava flowing through the roads, on the horizon was an erupting volcano and the whole sky was tinted red.

Thats when we both woke up. Our houses were about 5 miles apart. Any comments on that?

Wow, that's like a post epocoliptic dream. I wonder, was there a sun up or was it pretty dark in the dream, and if the sun was up could you see a lot of detail in the foreground and background?

I don't exactly know what the dream means, because I don't know the circumstance of your friendship, only that you are best friends. I do though think it means that you and your friend feel a connection, and that you feel that your best friend is someone who would be there, with you, no matter what happens. I think that this friend is like your qoute un qoute "soul mate", or a great companion.

The lava and the red scorched sky might mean you feel pain, or your friend needs you; he/she could have been in a tough situation.

No offense but I think that raping (it was pretty much rape of what you described cuz it seemed like you slipped some roofies in this girl earlier cuz she was acting like she was numb and weak and you took advantage of her) means that you have a sexual dysfuntion or your not sure about own sexuality.

I had a pretty messed up dream not too long ago that i was commiting suicide in my room alone on the floor with a razor blade slowly so i could carefully observe the blood trickling down and what was really weird is that i was listening to this dark music in my room that had lyrics like: this is not relief (this is not the order its in its just what i remember) making trouble... we'll be found. I woke up and I was kinda scared. My friend told me about Fraud and how he said that when you dream its your deepest thoughts coming out so that means that I've been thinking about death latey? cept i dont want to kill myself. I just keep thinking i'm about to die anytime.

OK, now I'm a rapest, is that what you are saying! I didn't say I fucked her, and I don't even recall raping her. I Think there is more of a deeper meaning, and you are taking this too literally.

I said that she was an angel, perfect, flawless, and when I woke up I wanted to slap myself for how I yelled at her. I saw it as, maybe, I was defiling the face of God, or I was in some way letting my family down; with what I might be doing in my life. She was a person that I wanted to take care of, but in my own aerogance I had to look down upon the weak. I have had a lot of bullshit happen to me in the past, and I feel that this was just some reverted memory, of one of my last girlfriends leaving me, some backwards vision. I think it could mean that this is how I, subtly, treat the ones that love me. Maybe out of spite? But I don't, or at least I don't realize my cruelty.

I thank you for attacking me in a, how should I say this, accepting and considerate way, but I am not a rapest; I love my sister, the only one I have now, and I have always despised those kind of people. I care for my friends and my girlfriends, I could die for them. And I guess if I was going to critique your dream, in the way you did mine; you might just be a cutter or slasher, maybe you like to watch suffering. Although, those are not my real thoughts of you, I think that you probably need someone to console you, you look like you need a comfurter, and in that aspect I understand and feel for you.

I am sorry if my remarks offended you, I just have strong beliefs and I don't appreciate the people who judge with a hasty speed.

Sorry I misinterpreted your post... I didnt think that taking advantage of a person could also mean yelling at him or her.

Do you ever have dreams where you are facilitated? Have you ever had a dream where you were held under your free will? Maybe someone is trying to imprison you in the dream? I guess it can be common for teens. I think the dream might be a sign of rebelion, or revolution.

Anyway, I haven't had any, easy to remeber, good dreams in a couple of days. So if anyone has had a interesting dream, that are or are not confusing, express them and let me know.

I've had a dream like that before where i was shipped to an all girls boarding school against my free will and these people sent me way way way high up in the attic so i would be isolated with these scary teachers. that was a weird dream because i sneaked out of the attic and then got outside to the gates and they saw me escaping their hell hole and i started flying cept i didnt fly continously i didnt have the power to continue flying it was so sad.

i had a strange dream but i think i know what it means!

i was at this cafe thats down the rd from me, but it was in america. i was with my 2 m8s jemma*and dawn*im usually more friends with dawn coz i didntreally know jemma that well!!
we were with dawns nan and i kept spilling the drinks she bought me and dawn was getting really angry. me and jemma started laughing and ran off together, then dawn dissapered!!!
we were walking up a hill and this van came past with a hose in the back and started getting us soaking wet!! jemma starting running up the hill and wen she was coming bk down she basheed passed this japaneese man who started chasing us with a stick. we ran bk down the hill and went bk 2 the cafe which was suddenly a caravan, then this woman was trying to kill me. but my english teacher was outside hitting the woman with a log!!
then my other friend kira* and her sister and jemmas sister were there hiding in the toilet. suddenly my mum n dad were there sitting on the sofa reading the news paper. then the woman came thro the bk door and sed im going to kill you, but im not coz ur my cousin!!. then i was bk atmy house and there was a knock at the door it was tayah and hollie (who arent really my proper friends) and they were making faces oin the window. then hollie sed so wat books do u like to write. then there was a car outside in the car was kelly and charlotte (who r my enimies) kelly sed do u want to cum n visit ur cousin in hospital. i sed ok and asked sum1 2 wait 4 me. charlotte sed i'll wait 4 u if u dont mind me coming in ur house and ill bring miceal (sp) (??)

then i woke up!!

Neos_Wife the dream clearly shows your mixed emotions about Dawn, and if you will become further away from her or not.....

Anyway, BIG TIP TO ALL OF YOU!!!!:
If you ever have a period of time where every night you get similair dreams, do this; as soon as you wake up write down one word that describes the dream, and after a week or so, see which word came up the most...for example....
With me it was 'fear', the dream was about being chased down a dark tunnel by the darker side of me, a very evil me, and very scary.....
And as soon as I realised the symbology behind it I understoond what I had to do, and I did it...and it worked and I never had that dream again.....

If you want to know what I did ,ask, otherwise its kind of long....

Oooh, I love these kind of interpretations. For some reason the unconsciounsious mind is under-researched since Freud overdid it.

So, I had this dream in which I was standing reasonably far away from a building that was on fire. The building had a second floor, with a large balcony (stretching to both sides). From it, a person was screaming for his/her life, and I just stood there.

So, what do I do? :)

well you could go outside to a building which had people in the second floor balcony siting down, having a nice time, then you set the building on fire, then you stand there, but his time in your mind say that you want to help them.
Next day do the same thing but this time move a little closer to the building, and so on, until in a few years you decide to actually save them.
Remeber patience is the key.....

Seriously, I did not torch the house, and I didn't want to get rid of the dream, I just wanted to know what caused it. Was it a major change in my life, a sudden death of an important character. Am I perhaps embarrassed about something, am I passionately in love with someone, but is she unreachable to me?

That kind of stuff :). Hey, it's called Dream interpretations, not get rid of your dreams in a jiffy :P.

You cannot interpret someones dreams for them as only they can figure out the true scource of their dreams, and so all I was trying to do was help you get rid of bad dreams, as for interpretation you'll have to do it yourslef......:cry:....

Well, my dream, or more a nightmare started when I was about 5 and I've had it intermittently since then. The same old thing, trapped in a room full of damn dead people. I don't know who the hell they are, however it's so profound that I usually wake up trying to scream!

Well, at least you can say 'I see dead people'. I still don't know what to make of the person who is on fire.. Hey wait a minute! Perhaps the person who dies in my dream (the one who is getting torched and all), maybe they appear in your dreams!
