one of my friends just sent me a e-mail that said a dead girl is gonna show up and kill me if i don't forward the email to 15 people in 5 mins. i only got 14. i'm scared. i don't normally believe this stuff but it showed a pic of the dead girl. i'm scared. did i mention i'm scared.
Post the pick! And that is just a stupid chain letter, don't worry bout it
i ain't got it no more. it freaked me out too much. nothing like that has ever freaked me out like that before. i am shaking and every thing.
found it.
Sorry Raj, but I took away the picture. -Val
these kinda emails make me frigging sick, i unfortunately had this exact email too. and dude, dont be afraid, no dead girl is gonna come get ya, its all a load of crap. you need proof well here i am, no dead gal attached to me!
trust me, theres some freak somewhere who started this email and sent his to all of his friends who thinks hes being clever causing trouble by spreading this filth, prove him wrong and delete it ASAP.
lol that stupid pic sick. i have seen much worse pics then that.
i got that mail also a year ago. i did not send it to anyone.
then late at night, that girl whas standing there in my room.
i jumped up got my sword and cutted her head off.
oke now for real. nothing happend i'm still here, it's all just stupid spam mail made to forse people to send it on.
don't believe in that shit it's FAKE
Hmmmph. I am not entirely happy with the picture, so I added a warning to the Title of the thread. Let's just try to keep pictures from rotten.com to a minimum.
Mr U
That pic is fake anyway. 1. The bruising shows that the 'person' has been there for around a week, and by looking at the floor that place is used a lot. 2. The picture looks like one a police man may have taken when first seen the girl. These are not commonly released
lol wow I havent seen that In almost 2 years, I got like 5 from different people, I didnt send it to anyone though
like freddy said there are worse pics than that, try a real picture of someone after a motorcycle accident, and he wasnt wearing a hemet lol it looks sick cant even tell where his face was, maybe I should stop there :D
stupid chain letters like that are so annoying
bah. You'd think the fool who sent that chain letter would have had the brains to crop the rotton.com sig on it. People like that make me slightly cross (I could say more though I won't on here).
Rotton does indeed rule, though consumption junction is better.;)
Don't get scared Raj, get mad. It works for me.
just ignore the stupid e-mail. I myself have not gotten it but it is just a stupid e-mail. Send an angry e-mail back to the sender. And if you don't know anybody who it actually happened to, don't worry about it.
I'm sorry but I can't keep that picture on here. The 'contents may be shocking' warning that HU put in the title didn't stop me from reading, I didn't even notice it and even if I had I don't think I would have understood what that meant. Sorry but it's vulgar and disgusting and people might be sensitive to it. I have to take the picture out.
Also, chain emails are dumb and should be illegal.
AND... if you ever get any kind of email that says something like "the more people you send this to, the more money [insert company here] will donate to [insert a cause here]" don't believe it. There's absolutely no way that any company can trace emails to donate money to a cause. It's just not possible.
i never do that. it's stupid and unreal
also i don't send forward those chainmails that say the more people you send it to the faster you will get a girlfriend/boyfriend
all so fake !
Microsoft Policy restricts from sending updates through email. All messages coming from the Microsoft corporation are to be considered fraud.
Hotmail policy will only send mail-letters to remind you of the folder-size, or if your account has expired. Hotmail has never been endangered to be closed down, because of the enormous incomes through the commercials. However, it are the chainletters that overload the Hotmail servers and make the servers malfunction.
I have visited Rotten.com, but personally I don't find it all that amusing. I'm more into video snuff ;).
Mr U
its just really wierd i've scary films. tons scarier than the picture but that really freaked me out i don't know why.
I saw a picture much scarier than that, it was of a man eating a fried baby....

That is probably due to the fact that even the worst horror movies are not as gross as that image, and even if they are, you still know that those movies are fake. As soon as we realise that it is real, something switches in our mind that tells us that it is disgusting. I, personally, find this a good resonse, and am glad that you were disgusted by this picture, as odd as it may sound :).
The same goes for empathy. It's just how the mind of a normal 'sane' person works. It's the same reason as to why many people have to puke after killing someone. It's a demonstration of the mind and body to the fact that they don't like it.

OWN3D!
LOL. Good one. One for Raj, zero for Freddy :p.
Mr U
HU, you're right about when it's real something switches in your mind and it becomes scarier.
About two months ago I was cleaning and it was somewhat dark in my kid's room and I looked in the playpen and I thought I saw a human foot. It freaked me out and I left the room for five minutes before coming back to find out it was just a blanket. I know it wasn't even possible but it still freaked me out. We watch too many horror films or something.
its like when i saw the ring. all i could think about was the girl comming out of the tv
Yeah, I couldn't watch a tv with static on it for like a month after watching The Ring. American version was much better special effects and a cleaner storyline than the Japanese version Ringu. But the scene with the girl climbing out of the TV was the same in both imho. Actually, the American version did much better on the people who had been 'touched' or whatever by the girl. The makeup was much scarier.

I dont know but ive never been "scared" of anything except stuff Ive made up or some weird dream, like in thread "Dream Interpretations"
I just have never been scared of much, how might you say in the "real" lol

At least I don't post in pink!
hmm... That doesn't sound right..
Anywho, you can't blame people for being sickened by pics from a guy with a shattered skull and blood dripping off a windshield (the man was sitting in a car, although I must say, it was kinda artistic...)!
And, I personally did not perceive the Ring to be scary. Actually Gothika or which ever way you spell it was even less scarier. I was constantly amazed at the sudden appearance of lightning...

Neither did I....couldn't stop thinking that, if the ghost could spell...why did she only spell out "cryptic" messages...wouldn't it have been a whole lot easier to say "Hey...._____ killed me"...instead of just "Alone"......

I believe the phrase was "NOT Alone", that was kind of the whole point. But yeah, I know what you mean.
I wouldn't even watch Gothika if you paid me (unless it was a lot of money) for the following reasons:
1. Halle Berry
2. Halle Berry
3. Halle Berry
4. It looks like a crappy movie
5. Did I forget to mention Halle Berry?

oooooohh, Someone doesn't like Halle Berry :p
I was actually going to go see this movie, it looked kind of interesting, I am a sucker for psychological thrillers, although I haven't seen a good one since 'Red Dragon'
Doesn't sound like it's worth seeing any more :(
LOL
I think someone has something against a certain someone. So anything with Halle Berry in it, Val, sucks? Now just wait a minute, I can think of osme really good movies she has been in..............................no, actually I got nothing. I would best steer clear of it stalin, as it looks really really crappy. I have't seen it but I don't even want to. Looks ******ed.
And I forgot to say, "I see white people..."
Red Dragon was okay. So was Hannibal. But overall, just because a movie is a psychological thriller doesn't make it a great movie. Hmmm, let me think of a recommendation... It's really hard to think of a good movie, I watch so many of them.
Psychological Thrillers:
(David Cronenberg's) Dead Ringers
(Roman Polanski's) The Tenant
or anything by these directors.
And some cop movies that are a good watch:
Dark Blue
Narc
To Live and Die in L.A.
Rush
And since this is a Matrix board, I have to recommend the following to anyone who's looking for more movies like it:
Existenz (David Cronenberg again)
The Dead Zone (based on a Stephen King novel)
Donnie Darko (this movie is brought up so much on this board)
Dark City
and Jacob's Ladder
Ive seen Dark city come on tv/cable so many times and I never decided to stop and watch it. I guess ill watch it now, but I bet you know that I want to watch it I wont be able to find it. I hate that, I ll see a movie come on tv many times and never watch it, then when I find out that it is good I wont be able to find it.
*blushes when seeing the Dead Zone*
Well, I own part of my English vocabulary to bad American series, and the internet, and a not too small part to that book. I never finished it though, and I'm quite ashamed of it. It was a great book, and it really had me excited, yet I could not get myself to continue it for some reason. I couldn't make much sense out of it (maybe because I was just eleven at the time, lol). Anyhow, I didn't know a film was made out of it...
Oh, will you look at that, I just pressed the K button in my QuickLaunch menu.. Hmmm... KaZaA Lite? I wonder what this does... :p
Mr U
It's better not to wait for a movie on television. Just rent it and make sure it's in Widescreen, because if you don't, you'll miss most of the movie and wouldn't be watching it in the intended artistic way.

What's wrong with Halle Berry?
What's NOT wrong with her? She's fake, and she cries too much, not to mention how terrible she is at being believable in the parts she plays, and the movies she makes are all crap. And it's not just her. There's a lot of celebrities I feel this way about. Maybe I should mosey on over to the thread about which actors people don't like, except my list would be neverending and I don't have time. ;)

I'd still hit it from the back and smack her on the ass.

You go girl. She is the same reason I refuse to watch it. I can't stand her.

She was in Die Another Day, though, and that was a pretty good movie. I thought she played her part in that fairly well.

????!!!!
Geez, are you serious? I'm a pretty serious Bond freak but even I couldn't stand that movie... I actually found her character repulsive, and there was no "playing" involved whatsoever...
But come on... invisible car? Pffttt...
Up there with the worst bonds in history.
Truth be told, I haven't really seen anything else with Halle Berry, apart from X-men, where she didn't do much acting either... :p how was she in Monster's Ball?
