i realized that every time in the first movie that one of the members where in the matrix and answered the phone they would put their hand against the glass as if blocking something.
does this have any meaning?

When Morpheous answers the phone in the subway station he doesn't put his hand on the glass...in fact, the only one I remember seeing do that is trinity...the first time because of the truck and the second time because she sees the bum changing into an agent.

I dont think it has any relevence hun, trin was just bracing herself to be hit by the truck and the bum changing into an agent.
