Sacrifice

This may seem like an odd question, but I was wondering what is the GREATEST sacrifice you could give?

EDIT: Also, what WOULD you make such a great sacrifice for? Do you have boundaries on how far you'd go for a certain cause?

Your life. a person cant possibly give more than their own life.


also this depends on what you are sacrficing for..

I would give my life for only three things:
1-religion
2-country
3-the person I love the most.......

Well, since I do not value my life very high, or that of any other meatbag, I would have to say more than one person. Unless of course these people have lesser capabilities to influence mankind...

Anyhow, I guess I would sacrifice my life for my love, if it would be required. But only to protect her. I wouldn't jump off a bridge because she lost one of her contact lenses :p.

To give my life. Whether it be for my country, my freinds, or the ones I love, I would gladly lay down my life ro protect someone elses.

the greatest I could give would be my life but I can only think of one person that I would actually do this for without hesitation

and I may risk my life for my friends but I wouldnt say that I would just voluntarily give it up,

Though I have to agree with HU a little with this one since I dont value other people's life all that much (at least on certain levels) I would be hesitant to give my life for anything

Giving one's life can have more than one meaning it could quite literally mean your life or it could mean giving up say your dream or something or giving up everything you have like all your money possesions ect.

I think some of those would be easier to give up than others

A scarifice that has to be done even though you really dont want to do it, is when youre the father or mother of the family and you have to give up your dreams for your children just so they can be happy.....just because you love them too much that nothing else in the world matters than to see them happy....

You're not 'sacrificing' anything if the ultimate result is YOUR happiness because your kids are happy.

'Sacrifice' is giving up something because it is for the greater good.

I don't think you can say you'd sacrifice your life for someone else until you've actually been in that situation. Since none of you have, it's a moot point without real evidence.

Saying that...if a homie needs a crew to run-down some bad-ass cribs, I'm down.

Error. You have no idea of what involves in my life, or what I have sacrificed for others. I would appreciate if if you would refrain from posting information about my personal life you don't even know anything about.

And it's not about sacrificing, it's about willing to sacrifice.

Look Ou Be, I was saying something that I beleive was true sacrifice because you could have had a dream all your life and you give it up so that the rest of your family, it doesnt mean that you'll be happy, it just means that youre not being selfish and want to see them happy rather than just yourself, and having to live with a sacrifice you've made is much harder than dying with it.....
