What's your life philosophy?

Any phrases you live by or sayings that you find enlightening?
These are mine:

- He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword

- That which does not kill me only delays the inevitable

- History teaches us that people have never learnt anything from history

- Ask yourself whether you are happy, and you cease to be so

- Only the dead have seen the end of war

and finally...

- Shit happens

--Death is more universal than life; everyone dies but not everyone lives

--Either war is obsolete or men are

--There is no such thing as an underestimate of average intelligence.

--The ignorant will always fear the Intelligent

--War is a great tool for advancing technology, but not much else

For myself, I stick to the philosophies that optimists have more fun, we should all live in the now, it's imperative to enjoy or at least experience each moment to its fullest, and honey draws more bees than vinegar.

try this one, but before you do, this is talking of communism as an economic system for any of those that are actually stupid enough to think communism is a method of goverment.

In communism, man exploits man, in capitalism, it is the exact opposite.

'In Capitalism, Corporations exploit man, by lobbying with Congres.'

I don't neccesarily live by any philosophy, I'm more the kinda guy who makes it up as he goes. Perhaps one day I will settle down and have the time to really reflect my life, but now I'm too busy with school and the many projects I am working on :(.

I guess I would have to say, "Don't look back at the choices you have made, for if you had made different ones, a different person would be looking back."

Extrapolate, add Quantum Physics, and you can conclude that it doesn't matter what the hell you do. In another universe, you will do another thing. We have only our choice.
How is that? I worked Causality, faith and Choice into one oneliner :p.
