yes I too would rather bi the "hands" of machines than my own govermant lol, no but really the us military has serios priority issues

It's the US millitary. To quote the Oracle:

I just got done reading an article in "Spectrum" magazine about how the army is using virtual reality and video games to train soldiers.

And to think it all began with modifying the awesome game known as "Doom"... :D

video games will some day take over the world. so we are now the machines ?

There was a program running here in Utah called "The MATRIX" which gathered personal information on Utah residents without them knowing about it.

"MATRIX has been billed by law enforcement as a quick and efficient means to track criminals using hundreds of confidential and public databases. But it has been vilified by civil libertarians for its potential to monitor the private lives of law-abiding citi-zens.

The program was initiated last summer when Utah and 12 other states signed up for the pilot program to create the super database. Utah began sending its confidential data — driver's licenses, motor vehicle registrations, criminal history and Department of Corrections files — to MATRIX on July 31, and by late August or early September Utah's data had been interfaced with databases from the rest of the participating states."

It's scary how a film is made called the Matrix which is an addictive film, that to some people, makes you wonder whether the world will get like that... and now we see that this might be so... Freaky... I agree, I'd rather be controlled by a machine than the Military.. Next thing you'll see a bloke run down the street outside and an agent running after him.. Followed by another and another and anoter and another....
