In 2000 election George W. Bush was elected president of the united states of america. By fraud, It just happens to be that a counting problem of votes happened. Not just happened by accident it was by that aid of Jeb Bush none other than Mr. Bushes brother. And it just happens that after all the stats said that the country would be under the rule of Al Gore . But once the "recount" was over with bush magiclly became a the president. all of the stats that i have used are not direct but yet this is what i see happened to the presidential election. And another thing could it be that bush has been elected to finish his fathers job with the whole middle eastern thing happening. It seems that once the word of bush in rule we just became a sitting target. 9/11 a bad time but could it of happened for the ecnomical safty of usa. and all of the anthrax attacks happened in the state of florida where Mr. jeb bush has the power of the govermant. let me finish this some other time i have to go just let me think what you think about my little theorie
You could also blame Ralph Naders' last minute move to throw his hat into the ring and run as well, siphoning off votes from Gore's campaign that would have allowed him to win the election...which he may, coincidentally, be doing this time around again.
I know this facet is probably more mundane than you would like to hear, but........it's not always a case of the "dark and sinister"
The problem is with the way in which presidents are elected to begin with they are not "directly" voted by us instead our vote only goes toward an 'electorate' each state has so many electorate votes this is based on how many people are in each state thats why california, florida and other populous states usually either decide the winners and losers thats why the Florida recount of votes was such a big thing, because in fact Al Gore had won the popular vote (the one that counts the people) but even if Al Gore had every single person with him on the popuklar vote he still would not have won the 'electorate', Imo this is a very screwed up way of voting
It's much the same thats happening now I f anyone has been listening to the news when they say ex. John Carey has taken massuchucets or something of the sort, it means he has the electorate vote for that state
personally i think somewhere in the recount it was rigged, the whole "problem" with the recount was rigged so that he would get into office, I f Gore had gotten into office maybe or maybe not running for a second term then Hilary Clinton would have run for pres next with Gore paving the way for her, and since there are more women in america than men i'm assuming that at least 90% of them would have wanted a female president, I know i've done a bit of rambling now :D
The electoral vote process is indeed something that should not be attacked or regarded as inaccurate for this country. States with the largest group of people should have the largest percentage of impact on the actual election. The popular vote is just that "popular" not necessarily reflecting the views of the people as a whole, anyway if the popular vote would have been the deciding factor, Gore would now be president. Does anybody else realize what state the country would now be in if that is the case? Be thankful you have a president like Bush, and be sure to use your vote in the next election to see him carry out a full 8 year term of office!
what iam trying to get at is that bush used his resources to become president and not the people. his finishing his fahers legacy and using any menas possible to attain that goal. I think that 9/11 would not of happened if gore was president, like i said its all a "bush adminarstation" problem

are you crazy Gore would have been a great pres Bush screwed everything up
i will continue this whebn i have more time ahh the outrage!!!
i personally think neither of them would have made a great president. if clinton could have stayed 4 more years, that would have been great, nix all the controversy. or we should have had no president at all, seeing as how he really didnt do that much except call for the invasion of iraq, and that could have been done a by a random guy named bob walking down the street. Nader all the way man!!!!!!

People have a right to vote for whoever they think is the most acceptable candidate...the point behind the Nader vote was that too many people were dissatisfied with the other choices...Bush or Gore...sure, Gore is the lesser of 2 evils, but he still wasn't representing what the people who voted for Nader wanted...THAT'S why Nader got their vote.
As for usual suspects in the line for the Democrat shadow-office, I don't see much difference to the double-truths of Bush...neither of them will give a straight answer to the 'Gay Marriage' question and both originally supported the invasion of Iraq...they are only now using it against Bush to score points.
It seems America is lacking a good popular candidate in the great tradition of some of the presidents past...Clinton, Carter, JFK...I read somewhere, that if Tony Blair was American most Yanks would vote for him...he's not perfect, but I think his heart is in the right place...excluding his pathetic support of the US invading Iraq....

did you realize that when clinton served he nearly cleared up the national debt and the economy was in much better shape, since Bush has been in office he has undone everything, the economy is screwed up and the national debt is even higher than before with most of the money being spent on some ****ing star wars project for a scenario that will probaly never happen, Bush imo is one of the worst pres's the u.s has ever had and hope he doesn't get re-elected for a second term
